The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise required to build and maintain a simulated, contested space environment for exercises.</p> <p><strong>This position requires a current DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI which requires US citizenship.</strong></p> <p><strong>Application Deadline:&nbsp; June 15, 2026</strong></p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Digital Environment Development: Create and maintain high-fidelity simulations of space-based assets and orbital mechanics to support Tier 1 and Tier 2 exercises.</li> <li>C3I Simulation: Resource and implement simulations of Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence (C3I) capabilities, ensuring that virtual data streams (e.g., GPS interference, SATCOM degradation) are delivered realistically to training audiences.</li> <li>Interoperability Testing: Ensure all modeling and simulation tools are compatible with existing INDOPACOM and partner nation simulation architectures (e.g., Joint Training Data Services).</li> <li>Scenario Injection: Manage the real-time injection of space-related effects into virtual and constructive training environments during live exercise execution.</li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Required Skills &amp; Experience</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{&quot;335559739&quot;:0}">&nbsp;</span></p> <ul> <li>Must have a current DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.</li> <li>Ability to craft modeling and simulation diagrams for platform system and architecture.</li> <li>Ability to explain complex system information and platforms to non-technical end users.</li> <li>Ability to take feedback from non-technical end users and adjust platforms as needed.</li> <li>Ability to communicate and coordinate with allies and partner nations, including their respective commands.</li> <li>Highly organized as all focus areas require tracking multiple processes, maintaining a large amount of data, and creating and maintaining multiple products for multiple countries simultaneously.</li> <li>Excellent technical writing skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Customer focused.</li> <li>Capacity to learn new systems rapidly and adapt quickly to change.</li> <li>Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 products.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desired Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with US Space Forces Indo-Pacific (SFI).</li> <li>Intra-agency or joint command experience.</li> <li>International engagement or exercise planning experience.</li> </ul> <p><span data-contrast="auto">#LI-AP1&nbsp; #CJPOST</span></p> </div> </div> </div><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>&nbsp;</p> <hr> <p><span style="font-size: 16px;">The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
