This position involves performing commercial roofing work in compliance with Local 69 work rules, manufacturer specifications, and OSHA safety standards. Ideal candidates take pride in quality workmanship and working as part of a professional union crew.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul style="margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in;" type="disc"> <li style="margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 8pt; vertical-align: middle;"> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Supervise and lead union commercial roofing crews on active job sites</li> <li>Coordinate daily work assignments in accordance with Local 69 work rules</li> <li>Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders</li> <li>Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with manufacturer specifications</li> <li>Enforce OSHA regulations and Local 69 safety standards</li> <li>Assign tasks, monitor progress, and manage production goals</li> <li>Train, guide, and support apprentices and crew members</li> <li>Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors</li> <li>Track labor hours, materials, and job progress</li> <li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems</li> <li>Perform work on TPO, EPDM, PVC</li> <li>Follow Local 69 work rules and Collective Bargaining Agreement guidelines</li> <li>Be on time and prepared for work</li> <li>Safely operate roofing tools, equipment, and machinery</li> <li>Work cooperatively with foremen, crew members, and apprentices</li> <li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site</li> <li>Comply with OSHA and all job site safety requirements</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to work safely at heights and in varying weather conditions</li> <li>Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism</li> <li>Ability to work productively as part of a union crew</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification</li> <li>Experience on large-scale commercial or industrial projects</li> <li>Willingness to support and work alongside apprentices when assigned</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> </div> </section> <section class="styles--3vx-H" data-ui="job-benefits"> <h2 id="job-benefits-title">Benefits</h2> <div> <p>Western offers a competitive wage. We provide medical, dental and vision insurance with the company paying over 80% of the premium. A $10,000 Life insurance and $10,000 Accidental death and dismemberment benefit is provided and is 100% company-paid. Generous 401k plan.
