It's our people that make BDA the top global Merchandise Agency to work for.</p> <p>The HR Operations Specialist&nbsp;supports the entire employee lifecycle by handling processes concerning recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, salary changes, promotions, compliance, reporting and HRIS administration. Responsibilities also include supporting the proper operation of payroll in cooperation with the payroll team.&nbsp;As an&nbsp;HR Operations Specialist you act as an ambassador to the BDA culture and help to foster a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. &nbsp;</p> <p>To be successful as an HR Operations Specialist, you must have a deep interest in understanding technology, problem solving and have a passion for organization and process efficiency. You will work with both internal and external clients and candidates and must possess great communication skills and the ability to pivot at a moment’s notice to meet the clients’ needs.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Onboarding</strong></p> <ul> <li>Coordinates global onboarding activities for all new hires that includes employment documentation, background checks, I-9s, and new hire correspondence</li> <li>Creates complete new hire employment files in databases</li> <li>Coordinates with internal teams to ensure equipment and access points are set up prior to employee’s first day</li> </ul> <p><strong>ATS/HRIS Administration</strong></p> <ul> <li>Creates user accounts, managing access, and updating employee information on HRIS</li> <li>Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to ATS/Onboarding/HRIS users.</li> <li>Collaborates with HR team to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.</li> <li>Conducts regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of all personnel data, including Employment Agreements, compensation, and employment contracts</li> <li>Completes accurate data entry for payroll administration</li> <li>Processes terminations through HRIS and coordinates with IT for access shutdown and asset recovery</li> </ul> <p><strong>Other Duties</strong></p> <ul> <li>Runs regular reports to aid in data analytics, forecasting and trends, including weekly personnel updates</li> <li>Other HR projects and/or duties assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience in HR Administration</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or Business Administration</li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>Must have proven experience working in Workday</strong></li> <ul> <li>Additional Experience working with ADP Workforce is preferred</li> </ul> <li>Applicant Tracking and Onboarding System experience preferred (Greenhouse/EMP Trust)</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills</li> <li>Experience in data input</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Skills &amp; Traits</strong></p> <ul> <li>Excellent PC skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook</li> <li>Self-starter -Possess the ability to multitask, prioritize and complete a high volume of tasks and projects.</li> <li>Loves delivering excellent customer service to internal and external partners.</li> <li>Exceptional written and verbal skills</li> <li>Ability to pivot at a moment’s notice</li> <li>Demonstrate excellent judgment, discretion and sensitivity</li> <li>Maintain a high degree of professionalism in dealing with internal and external partners</li> <li>React with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround</li> </ul> <p><strong>What makes this opportunity interesting?</strong></p> <p data-start="46" data-end="313">This is a high-impact HR role supporting systems and processes that touch every employee across the organization. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer. In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth.
