About the Role

<h3><strong>Position Summary</strong></h3> <p>The Shipping and Receiving Associate manages all inbound and outbound logistics supporting Cadwell's Service organization, including repaired hardware, service parts, accessories, and customer equipment arriving for warranty service or repair. This role processes transactions through ERP and shipping systems to support efficient service operations and on-time equipment turnaround.</p> <p>As a member of the Hardware Service Delivery team, this role works closely with service technicians, customer support, and distribution partners to ensure the timely movement of equipment and parts that directly impact customer uptime and satisfaction.</p> <h3><strong>Job Duties and Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Own</strong> receiving and inspection of inbound deliveries, verifying contents against order documentation, and recording any damage or discrepancies.</li> <li><strong>Manage</strong> carrier and freight forwarder coordination for domestic and international shipments, including required export documentation (AES filings as applicable).</li> <li><strong>Execute</strong> outbound shipments of repaired hardware, parts, accessories, and customer equipment per documented specifications.</li> <li><strong>Execute</strong> transactions in ERP and shipping systems to generate documentation and maintain accurate inbound/outbound records.</li> <li><strong>Execute</strong> safe operation of equipment, including hand trucks and pallet jacks.</li> <li><strong>Support</strong> Service Delivery teams with ad hoc shipments for on-site service events, field repairs, and parts replenishment.</li> <li><strong>Contribute </strong>to warehouse organization for service parts and customer equipment, including accurate placement, labeling, and sorting to support efficient service workflows.</li> <li><strong>Contribute to </strong>inventory accuracy through cycle counts and other activities to ensure physical stock aligns with system records.</li> <li><strong>Adhere to</strong> applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards for a regulated medical device environment (ISO 13485, FDA, EU MDR).</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Qualifications: </strong><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Proficient </strong>in domestic and international shipping practices across parcel and freight modes.</li> <li><strong>Proficient </strong>with carrier shipping platforms (e.g., FedEx Ship Manager®, UPS WorldShip®, or equivalent).</li> <li><strong>Working </strong>knowledge of ERP systems for shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.</li> <li><strong>Proficient </strong>in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.</li> <li>Familiar with the safe operation of stockroom equipment, including hand trucks and pallet jacks.</li> <li>Able to work independently and collaboratively, adapting to shifting priorities and deadlines.</li> <li>Quality mindset with extreme attention to detail, with the ability to spot and fix minor discrepancies, and fix them while operating in a fast-paced environment&nbsp;</li> <li>Effective written and verbal communicator across internal teams, vendors, and customers.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Education and Experience</strong></h3> <ul> <li>High school diploma required; Associate's degree or technical training preferred.</li> <li>Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations required.</li> <li>Experience preparing international shipping documentation and AES export filings preferred.</li> <li>Experience with carrier shipping platforms (e.g., FedEx Ship Manager®, UPS WorldShip®) preferred.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Physical Requirements and Working Conditions</strong></h3> <ul> <li>This role requires regular reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, along with finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, color vision, and 2-way written/verbal communication.
