This is an opportunity to work on real-world problems in fraud detection, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to production-grade systems—while gaining exposure to practical applications of generative AI.</p> <p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Work with engineers and product teams to design and build features for our financial crime prevention platform</li> <li>Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in a collaborative environment</li> <li>Use modern developer tools, including generative AI assistants, to improve productivity and code quality</li> <li>Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging</li> <li>Analyze data and help improve detection logic or system performance</li> <li>Contribute ideas toward applying AI/ML (including generative AI) to real-world fraud detection problems</li> </ul> <p><strong>Based Qualifications</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field</li> <li>Completed at least 2 years of coursework (rising junior or above)</li> <li>Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software design</li> <li>Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)</li> <li>Exposure to backend development, APIs, or distributed systems</li> <li>Interest in AI/ML or generative AI applications</li> <li>Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li>Curiosity and eagerness to learn</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills</li> <li>Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment</li> <li>Interest in leveraging new technologies (including AI tools) to build better systems</li> </ul> <p><strong>Eligibility Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be based in or able to work from the California Bay Area during the internship period</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em><strong>About NiCE </strong></em></p> <p><em>NICE Ltd.
