Accounts Receivable Specialist at GRVTY

<p><strong>What Impact You'll Have:</strong></p> <p>The&nbsp;Accounts&nbsp;Receivable&nbsp;Specialist&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;responsible&nbsp;for&nbsp;tracking&nbsp;and&nbsp;resolving outstanding payment issues, processing invoices and maintaining records of financial transactions for government contracts.&nbsp;</p> <p>Our&nbsp;ideal&nbsp;candidates&nbsp;are&nbsp;familiar&nbsp;with&nbsp;all&nbsp;accounting&nbsp;procedures&nbsp;and&nbsp;can&nbsp;manage&nbsp;daily financial transactions end-to-end.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What You'll Be Owning:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage and maintain detailed records of all receivable transactions, including invoices, statements, and customer correspondence</li> <li>Prepare, verify, and process invoices for goods or services provided to clients</li> <li>Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments received</li> <li>Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities</li> <li>Investigate and resolve customer queries</li> <li>Generate age analysis reports to review outstanding accounts</li> <li>Perform account reconciliations, adjusting entries, and generate financial reports for management review</li> <li>Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations</li> <li>Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers</li> <li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc forecasting reports</li> <li>Participate in credit control activities and decision making</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Must Have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role in government contracting for a minimum of 3 years</li> <li>Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations</li> <li>Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records</li> <li>Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel), Unanet and Deltek Costpoint</li> <li>High degree of accuracy and attention to detail</li> <li>BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration</li> <li>Clearable U.S. Citizenship Required</li> </ul> <p>#LI-PS1</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p></p> <p><strong>Pay Range: </strong>At GRVTY, we understand that compensation is influenced by many factors—such as geographic location, federal contract labor categories, wage rates, prior experience, skillsets, education, and certifications.<br>We’re proud to offer a work environment that empowers our team to achieve a strong work-life balance.
