We are looking for a highly motivated Associate Director/Director, G&A IT Digital Business Partner with a strong background in enterprise business systems, finance systems ownership and public-company SOX ITGC execution.   This is a business-facing, hands-on individual contributor role responsible for partnering with Finance, People, Legal, and Procurement to shape and deliver the roadmap, operations, integrations, compliance, and continuous improvement of Obsidian's core G&A systems portfolio, . You will help ensure platforms such as NetSuite, Adaptive, FloQast, ADP, Greenhouse, Pave, Concur, Prendio, ContractLogix, and ActiveDisclosure/DFIN remain scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with business needs, while managing key vendor relationships and building the data, process, and integration foundations for a future ERP transformation.  As a member of our Digital Solutions & Technology team, you will be a vital part of a highly collaborative group working to unlock the promise of precision cell therapy for patients, starting with our lead program amsoki-cel (OBX-115), a novel engineered tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) cell therapy that uses our proprietary cytoDRiVE® platform. This is a unique opportunity to be a valuable contributor in a well-funded clinical company with field-leading advisors, best-in-class partners, and an experienced team. This is a Hybrid role based out of our Cambridge, MA location until Q2, 2027 when our Bedford, MA office space expands to become our single MA location.  You Will... Core responsibilities <ul> <li>Partner with business leaders to define and deliver scalable, compliant solutions that support corporate growth, financial reporting, and operational effectiveness. </li> <li>Own the G&A technology portfolio supporting Finance, People, Legal, Procurement, Investor Relations, external reporting, and related corporate functions. </li> <li>Serve as the Digital owner for NetSuite and associated platforms, including Adaptive, FloQast, Concur, Prendio, ActiveDisclosure/DFIN, ADP, and related integrations. </li> <li>Responsible for roadmap, delivery, and operational performance of G&A business systems and associated vendors. </li> <li>Ensure SOX ITGC compliance for assigned systems, including access management, change management, operational controls, audit support, and remediation activities. </li> <li>Govern integrations, master data, reporting dependencies, and role-based access across the G&A application landscape. </li> <li>Drive automation, AI adoption, process simplification, and continuous improvement while safeguarding company data and regulated processes. </li> <li>Partner with Information Security, Internal Audit, Finance, and business stakeholders to ensure cybersecurity, privacy, SOX, and regulatory requirements are met. </li> </ul> You Bring... Core Qualifications <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business, Finance or a related field, 10+ years of experience in IT business systems, enterprise applications or finance systems. </li> <li>Public-company experience with direct, hands-on ownership of SOX ITGCs — access reviews, change mgmt, segregation of duties, audit evidence, vendor assurance and remediation — not just audit participation. </li> <li>Experience supporting Finance and HR systems in a regulated, audit-driven environment; biotech, pharma, medtech or life sciences are strongly preferred. </li> <li>Hands-on NetSuite or comparable ERP experience, with enough finance process fluency to be credible with Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, Payroll, Legal and external reporting. </li> <li>Track record managing SaaS business systems end to end: vendor releases, integrations, UAT, data flows, role-based access and audit-ready documentation. </li> <li>Strong business partner with sound judgment and plain-language communication; builds trust across Finance, People, Legal, Procurement and the executive team while holding control discipline. </li> <li><span data-ccp-charstyle="normaltextrun" data-ccp-charstyle-defn="{"ObjectId":"ac0262f4-8a9e-5820-b908-2d943c5f7113|1","ClassId":1073872969,"Properties":[201342446,"1",201342447,"5",201342448,"1",201342449,"1",469777841,"Calibri",469777842,"Arial",469777843,"Calibri",469777844,"Calibri",201341986,"1",469769226,"Calibri,Arial",268442635,"22",469775450,"normaltextrun",201340122,"1",134233614,"true",469778129,"normaltextrun",335572020,"1",469778324,"Default Paragraph Font"]}">Cultivates collaboration, transparency, and accountability within and across teams; recognizes success requires interdisciplinary thinking and partnership.  </li> <li>Inspires confidence, credibility, and trust internally and externally; recognized for high integrity.  </li> <li>Operates with Urgency, adept at building buy-in and driving alignment within and across teams, senior leadership, and external partners.   </li> <li>Exceptional communication skills in verbal, written, and visual formats, and adapted to the audience.   </li> <li>Tenacious and resilient – has navigated significant challenges (scientific and business) and is not easily daunted.   </li> <li>Excellent organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks of varying degrees of complexity in parallel.   </li> <li>Remains calm under pressure and leads others through complex situations.   </li> <li>Seeks the data, information, and support needed (internally and externally) to make efficient and informed decisions and meet objectives.    </li> <li>Builds followership by being transparent, persuasive, excited about the work, and willing to work hard together to get the job done.   </li> <li>Continuous learner – actively follows innovations in area of expertise, fosters innovative thinking, and adopts novel approaches that are fit for purpose.  </li> <li>Reflective and self-aware; leads by example with a growth mindset. </li> </ul> Bonus Qualifications <ul> <li>SAP exposure or implementation experience, particularly a migration from NetSuite or another mid-market ERP to SAP. </li> <li>Clinical-stage or early commercial public company biotech or pharma experience. </li> <li>SEC reporting tools, investor portals, controlled disclosure workflows, or external financial reporting support. </li> <li>Familiarity with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, CSV/CSA, or the overlap between financial controls and validated/regulatory systems. </li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">Obsidian is committed to equitable and transparent pay practices. The anticipated base salary range for this role is below. The actual base salary offered will be determined based on a combination of factors, including applicable qualifications, level of education, the depth of experience, unique skills, geographic location, internal equity, and/or business needs. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with federal, state, and/or local wage requirements for the role’s location. Our competitive compensation package includes an annual incentive bonus as a percentage of actual base salary and long-term incentives in the form of employee stock options, both of which are commensurate with the role’s level.
