<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>Candidate should have extensive experience in Java development, Container technologies (Kubernetes, Openshift Container Platform), a strong background in solution architecture, and a deep understanding of payment systems. This role is crucial in driving technical excellence and leading our replatform project in Java Tech Stack. The ideal candidate will combine strong coding skills with leadership abilities to guide our development team and ensure high-quality software delivery.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Review and analyse code submitted by vendors for quality, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.</li> <li>Provide detailed feedback and recommendations for code improvements.</li> <li>Collaborate with vendors to address identified issues and implement solutions.</li> <li>Ensure vendor-provided code meets our organisation's standards and requirements.</li> <li>Develop and maintain code review guidelines and processes.</li> <li>Work closely and collaborate with the Business Analysts and Quality Engineers/application testers for user stories elaboration, test automation, bug fixes etc.</li> <li>Participate in architectural discussions to influence system design.</li> <li>Work with deployment team/DevOps team on setting up continuous integration, build and release automation.</li> <li>Review of source code scan reports and work with vendors to address the issues.</li> <li>Involve in application deployment to the various environments.</li> <li>To work closely with key stakeholders from various business units to understand their business requirements and ensure that vendor translate the requirements into systems and applications architectural specifications.</li> <li>Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and industry trends and provide recommendations to the team.</li> <li>To continually research current and emerging technologies and propose appropriate changes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we are looking for</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 2 years of experience serving as technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle, from conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance is preferred.</li> <li>Strong proficiency in software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.</li> <li>Hands-on experience in designing and developing reusable components, microservices, containers and Kubernetes.</li> <li>Sound knowledge of Java, Containers, shell scripts, various operating systems, and databases (Oracle).
