We believe being in the office provides more opportunities to come together and celebrate working with the exceptional people across Appian.&nbsp;</p> <h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Build</strong> and deploy custom internal applications featuring advanced business logic, automated workflows, and embedded AI capabilities.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate</strong> closely with cross-functional internal departments to translate operational challenges into high-performing technical solutions.</li> <li><strong>Design</strong> clean, scalable architecture and integrate complex data structures utilizing foundational concepts in <strong>Data Modeling</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Partner</strong> with senior engineers to continuously optimize internal system performance, security, and UI/UX design.</li> <li><strong>Participate</strong> in agile development cycles, active code reviews, and collaborative brainstorming sessions to drive internal digital transformation.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in <strong>Computer Science</strong>, <strong>Information Systems</strong>, or a closely related technical discipline.</li> <li>Academic background or 0-1 years of experience demonstrating <strong>coding exposure</strong> with programming languages such as <strong>SQL, Java</strong>, <strong>Python</strong>, <strong>C#</strong>, or <strong>JavaScript</strong>.</li> <li>Excellent communication and consultative skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical concepts and business needs.</li> <li>An eager, self-starting mindset passionate about learning <strong>AI-Powered Process Automation</strong>.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Prior internship experience within a software engineering, IT, or business technology environment.</li> <li>Academic projects or hands-on familiarity involving automated workflows or data analytics.</li> <li>We value experience with enterprise platforms such as <strong>Salesforce</strong> or <strong>ServiceNow</strong>, as these skills translate well into our <strong>Enterprise-Grade Orchestration</strong> environment.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><strong>Tools and Resources&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Training and Development: During onboarding, we focus on equipping new hires with the skills and knowledge for success through department-specific training.
