We aim to drive a new paradigm for cancer management, guiding care from biopsy through the life of the patient. Our highly sensitive assays combine tumor-and-normal profiling with proprietary algorithms to deliver advanced insights even as cancer evolves over time. Our products are designed to detect minimal residual disease (MRD) and recurrence at the earliest timepoints, enable selection of targeted therapies based on ultra-comprehensive genomic profiling, and enhance biomarker strategy for drug development. <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Sr. Manager / Associate Director, Market Access will play a critical role in shaping and executing Personalis’ commercial payer strategy. This individual will lead strategic engagement with national and regional commercial health plans to expand coverage, influence policy, and improve patient access to Personalis’ innovative diagnostic solutions.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">This role requires a highly strategic, externally facing leader with deep expertise in payer engagement, reimbursement policy, and market access within oncology diagnostics or related healthcare sectors.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Strategic Payer Engagement</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Build and sustain relationships with key decision-makers across national and regional commercial health plans.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Educate stakeholders on Personalis’ technologies and clinical value to influence favorable medical policy development and coverage decisions.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Legal/Compliance, and Finance teams to align on access strategies and messaging.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives that support market access and reimbursement success.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>External Stakeholder Advocacy</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Represent Personalis in interactions with payer organizations, provider groups, and industry stakeholders.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Support advocacy efforts with professional societies and other external partners to advance coverage and adoption.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Access Barrier Mitigation</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Identify key barriers to patient access and lead initiatives to address them through targeted strategies.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Develop solutions that support providers, payers, public agencies, and professional societies in facilitating appropriate test utilization.</span></li>

<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Commercial Coverage Monitoring</strong></span></p>

<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Track and interpret trends in commercial coverage, clinical guidelines, and payer behavior.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proactively identify and address emerging risks and opportunities.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Performance Tracking & Reporting</strong></span></p>

<ul>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PhD, or related) strongly preferred.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">8+ years of experience in market access, payer relations, or reimbursement strategy within diagnostics, biotech, or healthcare.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrated success engaging commercial payers and influencing coverage decisions.</span></li>

<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The hiring range for this position is $160,000 to $220,000 per year, which may factor in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Our full-time regular positions also include an annual performance-based bonus (or a sales incentive plan) and long-term incentive units (equity) provided as part of our compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.<br></span></p>
