Under the leadership of Dr. Glenn Fleisig (Director of Biomechanics Research), this foundational program is designed specifically for students and early-career professionals aspiring to excel in:</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Athletic Training</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Biomechanics</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Performance Science</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Physical Therapy</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Sports Medicine</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">This immersive cohort – limited to 20-25 participants – offers a deep dive into injury prevention and the fundamentals of baseball biomechanics. Andrews, ASMI is a premier 501(c)(3) research and education foundation. As the nation’s largest accredited educator of sports medicine physicians, ASMI features state-of-the-art biomechanics and skills labs dedicated to the mission of understanding and preventing sports-related injuries.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Note:</strong> Participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging accommodations. The Team Physicians Association (TPA) and the Professional Baseball Trainers Society (PBATS) will provide a $500 stipend for each participant to offset some of their expenses in attending.
