Our ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has experience and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We are a bunch of hard-working, curious, attentive, no-ego, number-crunchers, owning the responsibility of month-end close, ensuring financial accuracy and completeness, financial statement preparation, all the way to budgets, forecasts, board decks, etc. We are building the foundation of a world class Finance and Accounting organization.</span></p> <h3><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br></span><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work directly with the Accounting Manager and Sr. Accountants during the month-end close cycle (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, ad-hoc projects, etc.)&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Leverage your technical software skills to optimize accounting processes and support financial reporting.</span></li> <li><strong><strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ensure department &amp; vertical alignment across financial reporting systems and other organizational software systems.</span></strong></strong></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Provide fluctuation analysis and insights to Accounting leadership for forecasting and financial reporting.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Help support the year-end financial audit process with external auditors by helping prepare schedules and pulling supporting documents.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Assist the team in developing and maintaining timely and accurate financial statements. and reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ensure financial records are in compliance with company policies and procedures.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Assist in the ongoing process of upskilling the accounting team processes and controls to introduce automation and technology tools.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Meet with other company stakeholders to complete tasks as needed.&nbsp;</span></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Experience and Education Requirements:</strong></h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience: 2-6 years of hands on, Accounting experience (public accounting experience or experience in a start-up a plus)&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Finance (Accounting preferred)&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Basic operational knowledge of U.S. GAAP</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong technical skills with proficiency in accounting ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, etc.),&nbsp;
