We are seeing an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal who has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all phases of case workups including pre-litigation and litigation. Successful candidates will be proficient in legal software, have excellent communication skills and have a knack for time management. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span data-contrast="auto">This is a full-time position that will be onsite in one of our main office locations.&nbsp; We are in-office 5 days a week, Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Responsibilities</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, appellate documents and legal memoranda.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">E-file court documents in both state and federal courts.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Communicate effectively with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Conduct legal research and factual investigations.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Prepare discovery documents, including interrogatories and responses.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Draft and serve summons.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Coordinate and schedule depositions.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Work with legal assistant to prepare trial binders and exhibits.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Organize, maintain and manage indexes for pleadings, discovery, exhibits, evidence, briefs and appendices.&nbsp;</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Support attorney with all requests.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Act as liaison between experts, defense attorneys and vendors.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Assist with witness preparation.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Provide support in case settlements.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet the business needs.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Qualifications</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Bachelor’s degree</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">5+ years of experience in Personal Injury</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Proficiency in legal software and legal databases (Litify, eCourts, etc.)</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Strong attention to detail and commitment to ethical standards.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Relevant understanding of legal research methodologies.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Relevant certifications or licenses related to paralegal studies preferred.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}">&nbsp;</span></li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Compensation Range:</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$70,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$80,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Compensation: </strong>The compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to; prior relevant experience, business needs and market factors.
