Senior People Partner, Clinical at OpenLoop
About the Role
About OpenLoop
OpenLoop was co-founded by CEO, Dr. Jon Lensing, and COO, Christian Williams, with the vision to bring care anywhere. Our telehealth support solutions are thoughtfully designed to streamline and simplify go-to-market care delivery for companies offering meaningful virtual support to patients across an expansive array of specialties, in all 50 states.
About the Role
OpenLoop’s mission is to bring care anywhere by powering telehealth solutions at scale. We’re looking for a Senior People Partner who thrives in fast paced environments and genuinely enjoys building the practical, scalable people systems that help managers and teams perform at a high level. This role reports the Sr Director, Talent Management and partners closely with leaders across OpenLoop’s Clinical organization — spanning clinical education, pharmacy operations, quality, and behavioral health. You’ll be close to the work which means coaching managers through hard conversations, building processes where none exist, solving problems quickly, and helping a scaling organization run more effectively. Strategic thinking and daily execution are both required here.
What You'll Do
Manager Enablement & Performance
Help run and continuously improve performance review and calibration processes across the clinical population
Support managers with performance conversations, feedback, accountability, and coaching
Help refine performance expectations and promotion criteria for clinical and operational roles
Support rollout and operational execution of People programs across your client groups
Employee Relations & Team Support
Serve as first-line support for employee relations matters within the clinical org — coaching managers through performance concerns, team dynamics, and difficult conversations
Build consistent, scalable ER documentation and workflows the broader People team can rely on
Support org planning conversations, team structure changes, and workforce planning processes across clinical leadership
Support career development and growth initiatives within the clinical team
Analyze HR data — turnover, engagement, headcount — and translate it into actionable recommendations for leadership
Build documentation, workflows, and operational infrastructure that helps the team scale effectively
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment law across your client groups, with particular attention to multi-state nuance in clinical and contractor workforces
Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
5-8 years of HRBP experience with direct exposure to both strategic and day-to-day people work
Experience with employee relations, performance management, and compensation support — not just as a process executor, but as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders
Working knowledge of platforms that expand access to healthcare by connecting patients to providers
Strong coaching instincts; managers come back to you because you give real guidance, not HR boilerplate
Ability to move fast, prioritize well, and close your loops
Clear, direct communicator who can hold their own with senior clinical leaders and influence at all levels
Analytical and data-driven, using insights to guide decisions and shape people strategy.
Tech-savvy, adaptable, and excited to build scalable people programs in a growing digital health organization.
Passionate about enabling high-performing teams and cultivating a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Required Qualifications
Experience in healthcare, telehealth, or a clinical environment with licensed or credentialed professionals
Background at a scaling company where the People function was still being built
Preferred Qualifications
Direct exposure to providing HR support to a platform for non-integrated clinical professionals
HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is a plus but not required.
Our Benefits
In addition, for salaried positions you would also be eligible for:
Medical, Dental, and Vision plans
Flexible Spending/Health Savings Accounts
Flexible PTO
401(k) + Company Match
Life Insurance, Pet insurance, and more
Our Company
We have a relatively flat organizational structure here at OpenLoop. Everyone is encouraged to bring ideas to the table and make things happen. This fits in well with our core values of Autonomy, Competence and Belonging, as we want everyone to feel empowered and supported to do their best work.
Sound like a good fit? We’d love to meet you.
