<h2>Position Overview</h2>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">W.M. Mulherin’s Sons is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable <strong>Polisher</strong> to support our front-of-house operations. This role is responsible for ensuring all glassware and silverware are impeccably cleaned, polished, stocked, and service-ready at all times. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and contributes to creating an exceptional dining experience through attention to detail and teamwork.</p>
<h2>Essential Functions</h2>
<h3>Operational Responsibilities</h3>

<li>Carefully clean and polish all glassware and silverware, ensuring items are spotless and free of water spots, fingerprints, residue, or tarnish.</li>
<li>Inspect utensils and glassware for damage or defects before returning items to service.</li>
<li>Maintain organized storage areas for polished silverware, glassware, and polishing supplies.</li>
<li>Stock service stations and storage areas to ensure adequate inventory throughout service periods.</li>
<li>Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages, damages, or operational concerns to management.</li>
<li>Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness standards.</li>
<li>Work efficiently and accurately in a high-volume restaurant environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Service & Team Support</h3>

<li>Assist service staff with clearing and resetting tables as needed.</li>
<li>Support front-of-house operations to ensure smooth and efficient guest service.</li>
<li>Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and contribute to a collaborative work environment.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with managers and team members regarding operational needs.</li>
<li>Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Qualifications</h2>

<li>Previous restaurant, hospitality, or food service experience preferred.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.</li>
<li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Reliable attendance and punctuality.</li>
<li>Positive attitude with a willingness to support the team wherever needed.</li>
</ul>
