Come join us and help build a better financial future for millions of people.</span></em></span></p></div><p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a Director of Financial Institution Sales. The Director will be responsible for building the banking and credit union funding channel in their territory / selling Upgrade’s credit products including personal unsecured loans, card receivables, indirect auto, home improvement and potentially other consumer credit products to CLO/CFO/CEOs at depositories. This position reports to the EVP, Head of Investor Group.</p> <p>The role can be remote or hybrid with our San Francisco HQ.<br><br></p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Present Upgrade’s unsecured consumer loans and any subsequent products that Upgrade develops to banks and credit unions.</li> <li>Represent upgrade at regional conferences including speaking engagements to generate bank/credit union partnership leads</li> <li>Manage pipeline from lead generation to closing&nbsp;</li> <li>Work closely with onboarding and execution team to move partnership relationship forward, track success strategies in CRM<br><br></li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Look For:</strong></p> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience in bank sales at a software, financial technology, or asset management firm, whole loan sales/trading</li> <li>Extensive contact list of bank clients and credit unions in the region</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of consumer credit products and general investing markets </li> <li>Strong understanding of how banks/credit unions operate and their decision-making framework: risk returns, capital requirements, loss provisions, regulatory considerations, etc.</li> <li>Proven measurable success in growing sales pipeline</li> <li>Superior written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Good judgment and excellent interpersonal skills</li> <li>Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and recognize and focus on critical issues</li> <li>Salesforce specific CRM experience a plus</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What We Offer You:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and stock option plan</li> <li>100% paid coverage of medical, dental and vision insurance&nbsp;</li> <li>Flexible PTO</li> <li>Opportunities for professional growth and development&nbsp;</li> <li>Paid parental leave</li> <li>Health &amp; wellness initiatives</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The compensation range of this position in San Francisco, CA is USD $170,000-$250,000 plus equity and benefits.
