SIMPL operates as a distinct business unit with dedicated pricing and go-to-market authority across two verticals: urban intersection management and interurban highway, tunnel, and tolling detection.</p> <p><strong><em>This position is not eligible for employment-based immigration sponsorship.</em></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p class="p1"><strong>Associate Field Application Engineer</strong></p> <p class="p2">We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associated Field Application Engineer to support our</p> <p class="p2">engineering and operations teams. This is a hands-on, entry-level technical position involving technical</p> <p class="p2">support, client interactions, equipment testing, quality assurance, deployment preparation, and AI data&nbsp;preparation.</p> <p class="p2"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p class="p2">- Assist both clients and field engineers with troubleshooting and debugging hardware, software,&nbsp;networking, and system issues.</p> <p class="p2">- Prepare and perform initial QA checks on equipment and materials for customer deployments.</p> <p class="p2">- Test systems and equipment under various scenarios to evaluate accuracy, reliability, performance,&nbsp;and compliance.</p> <p class="p2">- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and document RMA/returned equipment.</p> <p class="p2">- Provide occasional remote technical support to customers and field personnel.</p> <p class="p2">- Document testing results, technical issues, and troubleshooting activities.</p> <p class="p2">- Label and annotate 3D point-cloud data used for AI/machine-learning training.</p> <p class="p2">- Review completed labeling for accuracy, consistency, and quality.</p> <p class="p2"><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p class="p2">- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong sense for customer service.</p> <p class="p2">- Degree or technical background in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field&nbsp;preferred.</p> <p class="p2">- Comfortable working with computers, networking, and electronic equipment.</p> <p class="p2">- Able to work within Linux environment.</p> <p class="p2">- Background and familiarity with test script writing preferred.</p> <p class="p2">- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.</p> <p class="p2">- Ability to follow technical procedures and accurately document results.</p> <p class="p2">- Familiarity with networking, AI/ML, LiDAR, 3D point clouds, or hardware testing is a plus.</p> <p class="p2">- Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is dependable, technically curious, hands-on, and</p> <p class="p2">eager to learn.</p> <p class="p2">This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their technical career to gain hands-on experience</p> <p class="p2">with AI, 3D sensing, hardware, networking, system testing, and real-world deployments.</p> <p><strong>Benefits &amp; Perks</strong></p> <p>Seyond offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</li> <li>401(k) retirement plan</li> <li>Paid time off</li> <li>Paid parental leave</li> <li>Wellness reimbursement</li> <li>Career growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding global organization</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
