<h2><strong>Position Overview</strong></h2>
<p>As a <strong>Regional Manager – Foundations</strong>, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for <strong>foundation and civil construction operations across a defined geographic region</strong>.</p>
<p>You will be responsible for <strong>P&L performance, project execution, team leadership, and client relationships</strong>, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably. This role oversees multiple project teams and Project Managers while driving consistency, performance, and growth within the foundations business.</p>
<p>This position is ideal for a proven leader with deep expertise in <strong>foundation construction methods, power delivery infrastructure, and field operations management</strong>.</p>

<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Provide leadership and oversight of <strong>foundation construction operations across multiple projects and locations</strong></li>
<li>Manage regional <strong>P&L performance</strong>, including revenue growth, cost control, and profitability</li>
<li>Lead and mentor <strong>Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership teams</strong></li>
<li>Ensure projects are executed <strong>safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards</strong></li>
<li>Oversee project planning for <strong>foundation and civil scopes</strong>, including:
<ul>
<li>Drilled piers and caissons</li>
<li>Driven piles and micropiles</li>
<li>Structural concrete and spread footings</li>
<li>Direct embed and anchor systems</li>
<li>Sitework, excavation, and access roads</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Collaborate with <strong>estimating and preconstruction teams</strong> to support bid strategy and project pursuit</li>
<li>Build and maintain strong <strong>client, subcontractor, and partner relationships</strong></li>
<li>Identify and mitigate <strong>operational risks, constructability challenges, and geotechnical constraints</strong></li>
<li>Drive <strong>resource planning, workforce development, and equipment utilization</strong> across the region</li>
<li>Promote and reinforce Michels’ <strong>safety-first culture</strong> at all levels of the organization</li>
<li>Support strategic initiatives, growth planning, and <strong>continuous improvement efforts</strong></li>

<h2><strong>What it takes?</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in <strong>Construction Management, Engineering, or related field</strong>, or equivalent experience</li>
<li><strong>10–15+ years of progressive experience</strong> in construction, with a strong background in <strong>foundation, civil, or power delivery projects</strong></li>
<li>Proven leadership experience managing <strong>multiple project teams, regions, or business units</strong></li>
<li>Deep knowledge of <strong>foundation construction methods</strong>, including:
<ul>
<li>Drilled shafts / piers</li>
<li>Driven piles and micropiles</li>
<li>Structural concrete and site civil work</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Strong financial acumen with experience managing <strong>budgets, forecasts, and P&L performance</strong></li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop talent, and drive operational excellence</li>
<li>Experience with <strong>project management and scheduling tools</strong> (Primavera, HCSS, or similar)</li>
<li>Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record</li>
<li>Willingness to travel extensively and support <strong>regional operations and project sites</strong></li>
