If you want to work with the most talented people on Earth furthering space exploration for humanity, come join us.</p></div><p>Vast is looking for a <strong>Manager, Engineering Information Systems</strong>, reporting to the <strong>Director, Information Systems</strong>, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.&nbsp;</p> <p>This will be a <strong>full-time</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>exempt</strong> position located in our&nbsp;<strong>Long Beach</strong>&nbsp;location.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own and manage the overall strategy and execution of NX/Teamcenter, Ansys, and other enterprise-level CAE systems.</li> <li>Lead a team of experienced NX/Teamcenter administrators, provide mentorship, guidance, and foster hands-on, execution-oriented culture.</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, analysis teams, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to align system functionality with business needs.</li> <li>Define, prioritize, and execute the product roadmap for system upgrades, enhancements, and new rollouts.</li> <li>Ensure system scalability, security, and efficiency to support Vast’s rapid growth in the aerospace sector.</li> <li>Partner with stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and implement technology solutions.</li> <li>Provide leadership in troubleshooting, resolving system issues, and ensuring minimal downtime and operational impact.</li> <li>Act as a thought leader in the continuous improvement of Vast’s information systems landscape, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.</li> <li>Lead by example in a start-up environment, willing to dive into details and execute directly as needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>6+ years of experience managing enterprise information systems, including NX/Teamcenter, CAE tools, and interfaces to MES, preferably in an aerospace, manufacturing, or high-tech environment.</li> <li>Proven experience managing a team of technical product managers or business systems analysts.</li> <li>Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to align technology solutions with organizational goals.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with system rollouts and upgrades, from planning to execution.</li> <li>Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.</li> <li>Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of fostering a culture of accountability and ownership.</li> <li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a “get it done” mentality.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Skills &amp; Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working on ambiguous problems.</li> <li>Ability to creatively solve problems and bring multiple disciplines together while assessing risk and making design and development decisions with incomplete data sets.</li> <li>Strong sense of accountability and integrity with excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Experience with data analytics and systems integration.</li> <li>Experience with MES software and the hardware engineering processes.</li> <li>Experience with full-lifecycle product development.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.</li> <li>Willingness to work overtime, or weekends to support critical mission milestones.</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted.</li> <li>Specific certifications, as appropriate.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Pay Range: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Manager, Engineering Information Systems : $125,000 - $180,000</li> <li>Senior Manager, Engineering Information Systems: $170,000 - $250,000</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Pay Range: California</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$125,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$250,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><div style="line-height: 1;"><strong>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS</strong></div> <div style="line-height: 1;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="line-height: 1;"> <div> <div data-qa="message_pane"> <div> <div id="message-list"> <div id="message-list"> <div data-qa="slack_kit_scrollbar"> <div> <div data-qa="slack_kit_list"> <div id="message-list_1770163429.476589" data-qa="virtual-list-item" data-item-key="1770163429.476589"> <div data-qa="message_container" data-qa-unprocessed="false" data-qa-placeholder="false" data-msg-ts="1770163429.476589" data-msg-channel-id="D1T52LDR4"> <div data-qa-hover="true"> <div> <div> <div> <div data-qa="message_content"> <div> <div data-qa="message-text"> <div data-qa="block-kit-renderer"> <div> <div> <div>Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand.
