<h2><strong>Research Associate II, Upstream </strong><strong>Antibody Discovery</strong></h2>
<h3>Job Description</h3>
<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">We seek a Research Associate to support in vivo antibody discovery using our<br>high-throughput hybridoma process. In this lab-based role, attention to detail, strong<br>documentation and communication skills, and working independently and in group settings<br>will be critical for success. You will work directly with the Upstream Antibody Discovery team on<br>various projects to produce and scale hybridoma cell lines while supporting<br>the recombinant expression of antibodies and antigens. <br></span></h3>
<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong><br>● Hybridoma generation, culture, scale-up, cryopreservation, and antibody production<br>● Mammalian cell culture<br>● Transient transfections in mammalian cells to support recombinant expression of<br>antibodies and antigens at a range of scales<br>● Media and buffer preparation<br>● Management of antibody discovery project timelines and deliverables<br>● Cross-functional coordination of workflows within the lab and with project managers<br>● Troubleshooting and continuous process improvement<br></span></h3>
<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>What You’ll Bring to the Team</strong><br>● Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline required<br>● Prior laboratory experience is strongly preferred, with priority toward experience in an<br>industry setting<br>● Mammalian cell culture experience with excellent aseptic technique<br>● Knowledge of antibody discovery processes a plus, with a preference toward<br>understanding hybridoma-based workflows<br>● Ability to troubleshoot scientific processes<br>● Excellent written and verbal communication skills<br>● Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment</span></h3>
