It was a total U-turn.</p> <p>I went from "Professor Mahak" to a <strong>Junior ISA</strong>. On paper, it looked like a massive step backward. A total entry-level grind after years of academic prestige. My ego took a hit. I was starting from scratch in a field that used to terrify me.</p> <p><strong>But Day 1 was a reality check.</strong> I saw 21-year-olds demolishing their goals with a level of fire I’d never seen in a lecture hall. I realized my degrees didn't matter as much as my drive.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Core Memory: The Sunday Morning Email: </strong>A few weeks in, I got a team-wide email from <strong>Jacob (our Co-Founder)</strong> titled <em>“How to establish a great first connection.”</em> I opened it and froze. He used an email I had sent to a client as the perfect example of what <strong>not</strong> to do. :’)</p> <p>It was a tough pill to swallow. I was devastated, but also shocked. I had no idea the leadership was watching so closely or cared that much about an entry-level associate's growth. I didn't quit; I reflected. Jacob kept working with me because he saw me actually listening. Exactly one month later, Jacob shared a new example of perfect client communication with the team. <strong>This time, it was me.</strong> I traded the lecture notes for a headset and stepped into the limelight.</p> <p>Seven months in? Promoted to Level I. A year later, my boss, Dylan, asked the ultimate question: <em>“Do you want to grow as a solo contributor, or do you want to lead?”</em> Most people would’ve asked for a manual or a training week. I just felt electric. I’d led clubs in college and always had that "Commander" energy; I just never knew a corporate job would actually let me unleash it.</p> <p>I didn’t just swim; I built a fleet. Within 10 months, I was promoted to <strong>Inside Sales Manager</strong>.</p> <p>Today, my "PhD" stands for <strong>Powerhouse Development</strong> (haha, jk!). My day-to-day isn't just management; it’s about architecting the success of my team. I work directly with my ISAs to dismantle their targets, build closing strategies, and turn Junior ISAs into Key Account Managers who scale business through high-value referrals.</p> <p>Fresh Prints is a high-speed experiment in autonomy.
