Our team is dedicated to thoughtful risk management, strong client relationships, and building a bank designed for the future of financial services.</p> <p><strong><u>The Role:</u></strong></p> <p>Piermont Bank enables innovators in the broader technology ecosystem to launch new product and service propositions. <span data-teams="true">This role reports to the bank’s Chief Growth Officer and supports fintech client implementation, due diligence, and program management for the bank’s Embedded Banking business.</span>. The ideal candidate is an obsessive go-getter who has expertise in fintech, payments and/or banking and the ability to quickly gain a deep understanding of a complex and rapidly evolving vertical. We are seeking a results-oriented individual who can independently manage multiple fintech programs and drive growth-oriented results for both the bank and its fintech clients.</p> <p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-teams="true">Manage a segment of the bank’s Embedded Banking client portfolio.</span></li> <li>Develop a clear and deep understanding of each client’s business model, use case, target end-users, and flow of funds.</li> <li>Foster strong relationships with each client and be the point person for client-related communications and requests</li> <li><span data-teams="true">Conduct end-to-end onboarding of new Embedded Banking relationships, including document collection/review, due diligence approval memos, limit calculations, and approvals</span>.</li> <li>Identify potential growth or expansion opportunities within the existing portfolio, and evaluate /document new feature or use case modification requests, coordinating internal reviews and approvals as needed</li> <li>Facilitate reviews and related requests for the bank’s ongoing oversight needs of its Embedded Banking relationships</li> <li>Participate in other ad-hoc projects to improve the quality and delivery of the bank’s Embedded Banking channel</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong><u>:</u></p> <ul> <li>Exceptional relationship management skills.</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Ability to deal with competing priorities.</li> <li>Self-starter, motivated, independent, versatile team player who works well under pressure across a diverse group of stakeholders.</li> <li>3-5 years relevant work experience, ideally in an operational role in fintech, payments or banking.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.</li> </ul> <p>The hiring range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
