At BridgeBio, we value curiosity and experimentation—including the ethical & thoughtful use of AI to improve clarity, speed, and quality of work. </div><h3>Affiliate Overview</h3> Eidos Therapeutics, an affiliate within BridgeBio Pharma, is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on Transthyretin Amyloid Cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM). <h3>What You'll Do</h3> The Research Associate II will execute, analyze, and report results for biological assays for preclinical program.  <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Laboratory operations related to enzyme activity and inhibition. Planning and execution of experiments to measure inhibitory activity of small molecule drug candidates against target proteolytic enzymes</li> <li>Adhere to company standards, and compliance in current industry standards and practices  </li> <li>Adhere to safety regulations for handling and disposing of human plasma/serum and reagents</li> <li>Proper maintenance of laboratory notebooks and forms in accordance with company policies and practices. Routine maintenance, and upkeep of laboratory</li> </ul> <h3>Who You Are</h3> <ul> <li>Education requirement   <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Genetics, Molecular Biology or Pharmacology </li> </ul> </li> <li>Relevant Experience  <ul> <li>Enzyme assays   <ul> <li>4-5 years in Pharmaceutical Diagnostic in R&D or GLP environment </li> <li>Knowledge of GLP practice desired </li> </ul> </li> <li>Skills Immunoassay and biochemical assay  <ul> <li>Laboratory experience with Western Blotting and SDS-PAGE is a must. Basic knowledge of immunoassays and fluorescence biochemistry is preferred. Below is the anticipated salary range for candidates for this role who will work in California.
