So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.</p></div><p><strong>THE ROLE</strong></p> <p>Everpure is seeking a <strong>Thermal Mechanical Engineer</strong> to lead the thermal and mechanical architecture of our <strong>DirectFlash Modules (DFMs)</strong>. This person will play a key role in designing next-generation in-house solutions with minimal guidance, while also partnering with JDMs to design, test, and integrate DFMs into new storage platforms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and experienced in delivering high-quality designs for volume production.</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the <strong>thermal and mechanical architecture</strong> for in-house DFM designs, ensuring solutions meet aggressive performance, reliability, and manufacturability targets.</li> <li>Perform <strong>advanced thermal simulations</strong> using high-fidelity CFD tools such as <strong>FloTHERM</strong>, <strong>Icepak</strong>, or equivalent to optimize airflow, heat sink design, and component temperatures.</li> <li>Drive <strong>simulation-to-test correlation</strong> by comparing model predictions with lab data, analyzing discrepancies in temperature, airflow, and pressure drop, and refining models for improved accuracy.</li> <li>Support <strong>system integration</strong> with ODM/JDM partners by developing detailed thermal models, reviewing slot-level aerodynamics, and ensuring successful thermal-mechanical integration into new storage systems.</li> <li>Partner with <strong>Product Engineering</strong> on <strong>design-for-manufacturing (DFx)</strong> considerations, including tooling, material selection, and design tradeoffs for high-volume manufacturing.</li> <li>Own the thermal-mechanical design lifecycle from <strong>concept, prototyping, and validation through sustaining engineering</strong>.</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with&nbsp;<strong>Hardware, Product, Quality, Software, Test, Certification, and Operations</strong> teams to align deliverables with program schedules and system requirements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT YOU BRING</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>B.S. in Mechanical Engineering</strong> or related field</li> <li><strong>7+ years</strong> of experience in product design or a related engineering role</li> <li>Deep expertise in <strong>thermal simulation</strong> for electronics cooling, including extensive experience with <strong>FloTHERM</strong>, <strong>Icepak</strong>, or equivalent CFD tools</li> <li>Proven ability to perform <strong>simulation correlation</strong> with physical test data</li> <li>Strong <strong>3D CAD</strong> skills with <strong>Pro/ENGINEER, Creo Parametric</strong>, or equivalent tools</li> <li>Strong understanding of <strong>sheet metal, die cast, injection-molded plastics, heat sinks, thermal interface materials, and airflow design</strong></li> <li>Hands-on experience with <strong>detail design, prototyping, tolerance analysis, thermal tradeoffs, and DFx</strong></li> <li>Track record of delivering <strong>high-quality, high-volume electronics products</strong></li> <li>Excellent&nbsp;<strong>verbal, written, and presentation</strong> skills</li> </ul> <p>#LI-ONSITE</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Innovation</strong>: We celebrate those who think critically, like a challenge, and aspire to be trailblazers.</li> <li><strong>Growth</strong>: We give you the space and support to grow along with us and to contribute to something meaningful.
