More information about PLI may be found on our website <a href="http://www.pli.edu/">www.pli.edu</a>.</p></div><p>Practising Law Institute (“PLI”) is seeking a <strong>Continuing Legal Education (“CLE”) Intern</strong> to join its dedicated Manhattan-based team for the summer. PLI’s array of world-class legal education programs and services continues to grow, as does PLI’s client base of prestigious law firms and Fortune 500 companies. It is an exciting time to be a part of our organization.</p> <p><strong><u>INTERNSHIP PROGRAM SUMMARY</u></strong></p> <p>The internship program will begin on Monday, June 8^th and end on Monday, August 3^rd in our midtown Manhattan office. This is a paid internship with a salary of $18 per hour.</p> <p><strong><u>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Learn and apply learning assessment best practices aligned with adult education standards</li> <li>Review and analyze PLI programs and content to understand learning objectives and instructional design</li> <li>Use AI tools to assist in drafting assessment questions, plausible distractors, and learning objectives</li> <li>Support development of assessments that meet regulatory standards for CPE self‑study accreditation</li> <li>Assist in building a CPE self‑study assessment for a book‑based learning module</li> <li>Shadow cross‑functional teams and external reviewers to understand the end‑to‑end assessment and review process</li> <li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Multimedia, Publishing, Marketing, and other departments</li> <li>Document learnings, workflows, and recommendations related to assessment development and quality assurance</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Qualified interns fall under one of the following categories:</li> </ul> <ol> <li>Recent 2026 Undergraduate</li> <li>Any major welcome, but Business, Accounting, or Finance major preferred.</li> </ol> <ul> <li>Must be available to participate in the program, beginning June 8th through August 3rd&nbsp;</li> <li>Must have the ability to work part-time, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am – 5pm (with a one-hour unpaid lunch break) 21 hours per week</li> <li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Some intern assignments will require familiarity with department specific software.</li> <li>Willingness to experiment with new technologies.</li> <li>Strong communication and collaboration skills.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li> <li>Must have the ability to provide recommendation letters from school and/or previous employer.</li> <li>No prior professional experience required; this program is designed for entry-level candidates.</li> </ul> <p>Qualified internship applicants please submit your resume and cover letter online.
