<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">We are seeking a <strong>Staff Manufacturing Test Engineer</strong> with deep expertise (Seven or more years in test project design and implementation.) in electronics, embedded systems, and production test strategy. In this role, you will lead the development and optimization of robust, scalable test infrastructure to ensure the performance, quality, and reliability of our robotic systems. You will mentor junior engineers, drive best practices across the test organization, and act as a technical liaison between cross-functional teams including Design, Systems, Firmware, and Manufacturing.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the design and manufacturability of cutting-edge robotic systems from early concept through high-volume production.</span></p>
<h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>About The Work</strong></span></h3>
<ul>
<li>Serve as the technical owner and architect for manufacturing test systems supporting electrical, embedded, and control subsystems across multiple product lines.</li>
<li>Define and drive automated production test strategies for embedded hardware, maximizing coverage, repeatability, traceability, and throughput.</li>
<li>Partner with Design, Systems, Firmware, and Manufacturing teams to embed Design-for-Test (DFT) and Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) principles early in product development.</li>
<li>Own the full lifecycle of manufacturing test platforms, including requirements definition, hardware and software development, deployment, validation, and long-term sustainment.</li>
<li>Lead root cause analysis and failure investigations by analyzing test data, identifying trends, and driving corrective and preventive actions at the system level.</li>
<li>Provide technical leadership during New Product Introduction (NPI) by establishing scalable, production-ready test strategies from EVT/DVT through ramp and steady-state production.</li>
<li>Define and uphold test documentation standards, ensuring clear, maintainable specifications, procedures, and technical records for test equipment and processes.</li>
<li>Mentor and technically guide manufacturing test engineers and technicians, elevating test rigor, design quality, and engineering best practices.</li>
<li>Develop and deploy tools for test data collection, visualization, database integration, and automated reporting to support real-time manufacturing and quality decisions.</li>
<li>Ensure manufacturing test processes align with internal quality systems and applicable industry standards.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong style="font-size: 12pt;">About You</strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>7+ years of test design experience. </strong>Need to have defined, designed, built, debugged, correlated and implemented multiplex complex mixed signal manufacturing test solutions. Demonstrated ownership of complex electronic, electro-mechanical or embedded system test solutions. </span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Demonstrated experience leading <strong>end-to-end test system development</strong> in robotics, automotive, aerospace, or consumer electronics manufacturing environments. Need to be able to communicate your leadership, skills, projects and decisions clearly.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong proficiency in <strong>test software development</strong> (Python preferred), including automation, instrumentation control, and data analysis. Our test programs are thousands of lines of OO Python, strong transferable C+ skills are acceptable.</span><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong><br></strong></span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Electrical and electronic circuit design experience, Fluent ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and layouts and quickly analyze their function and how to test/debug those circuits. ECAD tools (Altium preferred) required.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Hands-on experience designing, deploying and supporting manufacturing <strong>test fixtures, harnesses, and production test stations</strong>.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with Linux- or RTOS-based systems (e.g., FreeRTOS) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing methodologies.</span><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong><br></strong></span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Deep understanding of embedded systems and communication protocols (I²C, SPI, UART, CAN, EtherCAT).</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams through technical leadership and sound engineering judgment.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and present complex technical concepts, write work instructions, write reports and communicate data in a useful manner. Ability to train and mentor manufacturing staff.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong hands-on, builder mindset—you are comfortable troubleshooting hardware and software on the factory floor.</span></li>
</ul>

</ul>
<h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Work Environment & Physical Demands</strong></span></h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">This position requires regular hands-on interaction with test equipment, circuit boards, and diagnostic tools in both lab and production environments. Occasional physical effort such as walking, lifting equipment, or standing for extended periods may be required.</span></p>
