Candidates must be well-spoken and confident interacting with people at all levels while remaining calm and organized at all times. <h3>What does a Seasonal Squishable Retail Sales Lead do?</h3> The Retail Sales Lead is a key member of the store leadership team, supporting the Store Manager in driving sales, developing the team, and creating an exceptional experience for every Squishable fan. Responsibilities include: <ul> <li>Supports the Store Manager in delivering a fun, welcoming, and efficient customer experience during the busy holiday season</li> <li>Helps lead the sales floor during peak periods, keeping the team focused on customer service and sales goals</li> <li>Drives holiday sales through customer engagement, product recommendations, and strong knowledge of Squishable products</li> <li>Supports seasonal promotions, merchandising, replenishment, and maintaining an organized, well-stocked sales floor</li> <li>Helps manage customer flow and resolves concerns with a positive, solution-oriented approach</li> <li>Provides day-to-day direction and support to team members and jumps in wherever needed during busy periods</li> <li>Supports opening, closing, and keyholder responsibilities, as assigned</li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>1+ year of retail, customer service, or leadership experience in a fast-paced environment preferred</li> <li>Passion for people and creating a fun, welcoming customer experience</li> <li>Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to stay positive and flexible during busy periods</li> <li>Team player who can motivate others, take initiative, and jump in wherever needed</li> <li>Comfortable receiving and providing feedback and helping keep the team focused on shared goals</li> <li>Must have flexible availability throughout the holiday season, including evenings, weekends, and holidays</li> <li>Able to lift and move cartons weighing up to 25 lbs.</li> <li>Must be 18 years of age or older</li> </ul> <h3>Compensation</h3> Pay range is $18.50-$19.00 per hour <h3>Benefits & Perks: </h3> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">A fun, welcoming workplace where creativity and personality are encouraged</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Career growth opportunities (many of our seasonal team members have the opportunity to stay with Squishable in ongoing roles!)</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Employee discounts (yes, even on the giant plushies)</li> </ul> Seasonal Duration: November 2026 through early January 2027 Availability Requirements: Seasonal team members must have flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as these are some of our busiest times of the year.<div class="content-conclusion">  Squishable.com, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
