Frequently lift and carry lawn equipment such as weed eater and edger for&nbsp;long periods&nbsp;of time.&nbsp;</li> <li>Trim hedges and edges around walks, flowerbeds, and wells, using hedge trimmers, clippers and edging tools, prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth, using shears and other hand tools, sprays lawn, shrubs, and trees with fertilizer or insecticide.&nbsp;</li> <li>Planting grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs.&nbsp;</li> <li>Watering lawn and shrubs during dry periods, using hose or activating sprinkler system.&nbsp;</li> <li>Rake,&nbsp;bag, and&nbsp;remove leaves and other natural debris.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Removing snow from walks, driveways, roads, or parking lots, using&nbsp;shovel&nbsp;and snow blower.&nbsp;</li> <li>Spreads&nbsp;salt on walkways and other areas.&nbsp;</li> <li>Repairing and painting fences, gates, benches, tables, guardrails, and outbuildings.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Assists&nbsp;in repair of roads, walks, buildings, and mechanical equipment, and may clean comfort stations,&nbsp;offices&nbsp;workshop areas, and parking lots by sweeping, washing,&nbsp;mopping&nbsp;and polishing.&nbsp;</li> <li>Tie down equipment and cargo&nbsp;loads&nbsp;on stake bed trucks and flatbed trailers.&nbsp;</li> <li>Hand weed-pulling, raking, shoveling, and mulching landscapes.&nbsp;</li> <li>May drive ATV’s, Kubota’s and other small equipment or Tractors.&nbsp;</li> <li>Use hand and arm signals to direct other operators.&nbsp;</li> <li>Consistently produces quality products and&nbsp;service. </li> <li>Completes all training within&nbsp;required&nbsp;timeline. </li> <li>Performs all work in a safe and secure manner. </li> <li>Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.</li> <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to obtain and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;a secret&nbsp;clearance.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Lead should have leadership experience.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience and/or training providing the necessary knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the tasks of the position.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience in operating small trucks and&nbsp;grounds&nbsp;equipment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Must have a basic knowledge of custodial, recycling, and working with hazardous materials.&nbsp;</li> <li>Must have knowledge of worksite safety, occupational&nbsp;hazards&nbsp;and standard safety practices.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Must be able to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with others.&nbsp;</li> <li>Possess and&nbsp;demonstrate&nbsp;a courteous and positive attitude toward customers.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to follow policies,&nbsp;procedures&nbsp;and operating instructions.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated aptitude for successful&nbsp;completions&nbsp;of assigned tasks.&nbsp;</li> <li>Must&nbsp;possess&nbsp;the ability to work in a team or alone and be able to change jobs on short notice.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks&nbsp;in&nbsp;a given&nbsp;time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules under pressure of deadlines while&nbsp;maintaining&nbsp;acceptable performance standards.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to follow basic operation instructions.&nbsp;</li> <li>Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Physical Demands &amp; Work Environment</strong></p> <ul> <li>Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50 pounds, walking, sitting, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for long periods of time.</li> <li>Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.</li> <li>Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions.
