If you're ready to drive change and make history, apply now!</div><h4>What you’ll do</h4> Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: <ul> <li>Lead delivery of Scout’s Automotive Cloud and Connected Services initiatives, driving end-to-end execution across vehicle, cloud, mobile, and digital ecosystems. </li> <li>Ensure cross-functional alignment across Commercial Operations, Product, Engineering, IT, Rivian-Volkswagen Tech JV (RVT), and external partners, enabling seamless integration of connected vehicle capabilities and customer-facing services. </li> <li>Lead day-to-day program execution across a multi-workstream environment (e.g., OTA, diagnostics, mobile apps, data platforms, cloud architecture). </li> <li>Run weekly cross-functional workgroups and maintain alignment across all delivery workstreams & teams. </li> <li>Establish and enforce clear governance structures, roles, and ownership. </li> <li>Partner with leadership to align priorities across workstreams (e.g., OTA, data, mobile, user management, diagnostics, security). </li> <li>Coordinate delivery across internal and partner ecosystems. </li> <li>Serve as a standing presenter in regular leadership reviews and monthly updates.  </li> <li>Provide clear visibility into:   <ul> <li>Program status </li> <li>Risks and issues </li> <li>Dependencies and decision points </li> </ul> </li> <li>Translate complex technical requirements into concise, executive-ready insights. </li> <li>Proactively identify and mitigate risks across integrated workstreams. </li> <li>Ensure structured documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication aligned to vehicle milestones. </li> <li>Prevent delivery bottlenecks through early escalation and issue resolution. </li> <li>Reinforce consistent program and project management standards across teams. </li> <li>Lead adoption of new tools, processes, and operating models (e.g., Jira alignment, Confluence management, & governance structures). </li> <li>Drive stakeholder engagement and enablement across evolving teams. </li> <li>Support transition to scalable, repeatable delivery frameworks for future roadmap growth. </li> </ul> Location & Travel Expectations: <ul> <li>This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Fremont, California.</li> <li>This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events. </li> <li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li> </ul> <h4>What you’ll bring </h4> We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset. Here's what else you'll bring:  <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. </li> <li>12+ years leading complex, cross-functional programs in software, cloud, or digital environments. </li> <li>Proven experience managing multi-system integrations (cloud, APIs, backend, mobile, or vehicle systems). </li> <li>Strong proficiency in leveraging enterprise project management, collaboration, and business intelligence tools to drive execution and executive visibility (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Asana, PowerBI, Tableau). </li> <li>Strong understanding of:   <ul> <li>Software development lifecycle (SDLC) </li> <li>Cloud architecture and distributed systems </li> <li>Data integration and platform ecosystems </li> </ul> </li> <li>Demonstrated ability to lead through organizational ambiguity and evolving structures  </li> <li>Strong executive communication and stakeholder alignment skills </li> </ul> Preferred:  <ul> <li>Master’s degree (MBA, Engineering, or related field). </li> <li>Certifications (PMP, Agile, SAFe, Prosci/OCM). </li> <li>Experience in automotive, connected vehicle, IoT, or mobility ecosystems  </li> <li>Familiarity with:   <ul> <li>OTA systems, telemetry, diagnostics, or subscription platforms </li> <li>Cloud delivery in highly integrated environments </li> </ul> </li> <li>Experience working across Engineering, IT, Product, and Commercial organizations simultaneously  </li> <li>Proficiency with Jira / Confluence and structured PMO reporting </li> </ul> <h4>What you'll gain</h4> The benefits of joining Scout include the chance to build products and a company from the ground up.  This is a chance to create something new and lasting – with an iconic brand at its foundation.  In addition, Scout provides competitive compensation and benefits to support your physical, mental, and financial wellbeing. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
