You will be responsible for leading initiatives to build new features and maintain existing systems that drive the experience of buying custom manufacturing via the Xometry website. You will work closely with a product manager and peer and senior engineers to continue growing Xometry capabilities and the buyer experience of online custom manufacturing.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hands-On Technical Leadership: Adopt a 'lead by example' approach by actively coding and troubleshooting.</li> <li>Leadership &amp; Teaching: You will serve as a guide and supervisor to engineers on your team, teaching and mentoring them to grow their skills.Code Review: You will do code review and mentor others within the organization to perform good code reviews. You will also be responsible for setting good coding patterns and designs.</li> <li>Operational Excellence: Guarantee the delivery of superior software that not only meets but exceeds customer expectations, while aligning with the strategic business timelines.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 6+ years of experience in software development, in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.</li> <li>Experience with an e-commerce/marketplace product is highly desired.</li> <li>Strong technical expertise with an eye on making code changes keeping future strategy and roadmap in mind.
