We only accept direct applications.</strong></em></p></div><p>&nbsp;</p> <div class="jd-section-employer"> <div class="jd-description-text"> <p>Strictly Mechanical is seeking an experienced <strong>Mechanical Project Manager (PM)</strong> to oversee <span style="text-decoration: underline;">commercial HVAC</span> and <span style="text-decoration: underline;">mechanical construction</span> projects from turnover through closeout.</p> <p>This role is responsible for <strong>project planning, financial management, procurement, customer relationships, subcontractor coordination, and overall project execution</strong>. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers and ensures projects are completed safely, profitably, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.</p> <p>We are specifically seeking candidates who have successfully managed projects for a mechanical contractor and understand the unique challenges of commercial HVAC and mechanical construction.</p> <h3>What You'll Do (Responsibilities)</h3> <ul> <li>Manage commercial mechanical construction projects from award through closeout.</li> <li>Own project budget, schedule, forecasting, and profitability.</li> <li>Review plans, specifications, contracts, and submittals.</li> <li>Manage RFIs, change orders, equipment procurement, and subcontractors.</li> <li>Coordinate with General Contractors, field leadership, vendors, and customers.</li> <li>Monitor labor productivity, project costs, and financial performance.</li> <li>Lead project meetings and maintain proactive communication with stakeholders.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with project specifications and company processes.</li> <li>Drive project closeout activities including punch lists, warranties, O&amp;M manuals, and final documentation.</li> <li>Build and maintain strong customer relationships that lead to repeat business</li> </ul> <h3>What You'll Bring (Qualifications)</h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial mechanical contracting.</li> <li>Experience managing HVAC, piping, plumbing, or design-build mechanical projects.</li> <li>Understanding of mechanical systems, project scheduling, procurement, and construction contracts.</li> <li>Experience managing project financials, billings, forecasting, and change orders.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.</li> <li>Strong communication and customer relationship skills.</li> <li>Demonstrate and follow Strictly Mechanical's core values: Committed, Loyal, Equitable, Accountable and Reliable. (C.L.E.A.R.)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.</li> <li>Experience managing commercial projects exceeding $1M-$5M in value.</li> <li>Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, or similar construction management software.</li> <li>Design-build project experience.</li> <li>OSHA certifications.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>hydronic systems</strong></li> </ul> </div> </div> <div class="jd-section-job-type"> <h3>Work Environment</h3> <p>Project Managers split their time between office-based planning in <strong>Conyers, GA 30013</strong> and field-based coordination. This role requires flexibility to work in both professional settings and active construction sites, with exposure to weather, noise, and mechanical equipment.
