This role is the backbone of our container orchestration strategy, critical for the design, scaling, and management of the infrastructure powering our programmatic Demand-Side Platform (DSP).</p> <p data-renderer-start-pos="518" data-local-id="03b9cb007d6e">You will transition our high-performance Real-Time Bidding (RTB) environment into a world-class, cloud-native ecosystem. Leveraging Kubernetes (K8s), Docker/Containerd, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Pulumi), you will ensure our bidding services operate with sub-millisecond latency and massive horizontal scalability. You will collaborate with global SRE and Backend teams to bridge the gap between bare-metal performance and cloud-native agility.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li data-renderer-start-pos="999" data-local-id="346d459a2443"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Cluster Orchestration:</strong> Design, deploy, and maintain production-grade Kubernetes clusters across on-prem (bare metal) and hybrid cloud environments.</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="1150" data-local-id="ae0dcfaeaaff"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Container Networking:</strong> Optimize K8s <span data-highlighted="true" data-vc="highlighted-text"><span class="_kqswh2mm"><span class="_5pioz8co _189e1dm9 _1il9buyh _19lc184f _d0altlke" data-testid="definition-highlighter">CNI</span></span></span> plugins (e.g., Cilium, Calico) to handle high-throughput RTB traffic with minimal overhead.</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="1284" data-local-id="c1daaba06435"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">GitOps &amp; Automation:</strong> Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using <strong data-renderer-mark="true">ArgoCD or Flux</strong> to ensure declarative, reproducible infrastructure.</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="1414" data-local-id="50df17fa5083"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Performance Engineering:</strong> Fine-tune container runtimes and resource quotas (CPU/Memory pinning) for latency-sensitive applications.</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="1548" data-local-id="a1aaea68a3b2"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Observability:</strong> Implement deep-stack monitoring using <strong data-renderer-mark="true">Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger</strong> to trace requests across microservices.</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="1676" data-local-id="f97b26c0cb14"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Security &amp; Policy:</strong> Enforce cluster security using Network Policies, <span data-highlighted="true" data-vc="highlighted-text"><span class="_kqswh2mm"><span class="_5pioz8co _189e1dm9 _1il9buyh _19lc184f _d0altlke" data-testid="definition-highlighter">OPA</span></span></span>/Gatekeeper, and automated vulnerability scanning for container images.</li> </ul> <h4 id="Required-Skills-/-Experience" data-local-id="04a785a8-abd5-4e4b-8ffa-e64d1801e862" data-renderer-start-pos="1823">Required Skills / Experience</h4> <ul> <li data-renderer-start-pos="1855" data-local-id="e0026c60-872f-43ff-b07c-7e02b3b50c76"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Professional Experience:</strong> 3+ years in DevOps/SRE (6+ for Senior roles) with a heavy focus on containerization.</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="1968" data-local-id="a083a2f84ca2"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Kubernetes Mastery:</strong> Deep internal knowledge of K8s components (Etcd, API Server, Scheduler) and <span data-highlighted="true" data-vc="highlighted-text"><span class="_kqswh2mm"><span class="_5pioz8co _189e1dm9 _1il9buyh _19lc184f _d0altlke" data-testid="definition-highlighter">CRD</span></span></span> development.</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="2084" data-local-id="a3a618c903bc"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Linux Systems:</strong> Strong proficiency in Linux internals (namespaces, cgroups, eBPF) and shell scripting.</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="2189" data-local-id="f9ff431eb7c6"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Infrastructure as Code:</strong> Expert-level experience with <strong data-renderer-mark="true">Terraform</strong> or <strong data-renderer-mark="true">Pulumi</strong>.</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="2266" data-local-id="db8904ab77e6"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Service Mesh:</strong> Practical experience with Istio or Linkerd for traffic management and mTLS.</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="2359" data-local-id="bde427956f24"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Programming:</strong> Proficiency in <strong data-renderer-mark="true">Go</strong> (preferred for K8s operators) or <strong data-renderer-mark="true">Python</strong>.</li> <li data-renderer-start-pos="2434" data-local-id="cd3442223e02"><strong data-renderer-mark="true">Degree:</strong> Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related technical field.</li> </ul>
