Trading Operations Intern - Summer 2027 at WhiteWater

<p>WhiteWater is an Austin-based natural gas infrastructure company founded in 2016. WhiteWater is partnered with multiple private equity funds and direct investors.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide support for the following critical business functions:</li> <ul> <li>Gas Scheduling</li> <ul> <li>Generation and maintenance of accurate records related to the contractual exchange of natural gas between market participants</li> <li>Nomination of gas receipt and delivery on interstate pipeline electronic bulletin boards (“EBBs”)</li> <li>Communication with third parties to minimize disruptions to the flow of gas</li> </ul> <li>Gas Settlements</li> <ul> <li>Invoice creation, distribution, reconciliation, and settlement of physical and financial natural gas transactions</li> <li>Coordination with counterparties to resolve invoice reconciliation discrepancies proactively and timely via collaboration with trading and scheduling</li> </ul> </ul> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree candidate, preferably a May 2028 grad</li> <li>Strong proficiency with MS Office applications including intermediate to advanced Excel skills</li> <li>Strong analytical, critical and economical thinking and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Ability to multi-task, grasp complex issues, as well as pay strict attention to details</li> <li>WhiteWater does not offer housing.
