<p><strong>Primary Accountability:</strong></p>
<p><strong>T</strong>he Welder will read and interpret work orders and blueprints to complete welding projects in a safe, quality and efficient manner. This position requires someone that is detail oriented with strong welding skills and the ability to complete routine to intricate projects.</p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to determine work requirements.</li>
<li>Ensure sufficient tools and supplies are available to allow welding work to be performed efficiently.</li>
<li>Set-up and operate welding equipment.</li>
<li>Weld various materials using appropriate and approved welding procedures.</li>
<li>Self-inspect quality of work product to ensure it meets IMI and Customer expectations.</li>
<li>Attend company training programs and follow procedures as outlined in training.</li>
<li>Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.</li>

<li>Establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees and department managers.</li>

<li>1-2 years of fabrication experience preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret fabrication drawings.</li>
<li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement.</li>
<li>Ability to complete work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.</li>

<p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations.</li>
<li>Frequently lifts and/or moves up to fifty (50) pounds</li>
<li>Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear.</li>
<li>Use hands to handle, install, position, move and manipulate materials.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Frequent exposure to extreme cold and heat</li>
<li>Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration.</li>
<li>Moderate to high noise level</li>
<li>Interaction with team members in a respectful manner</li>
<li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, overtime, and weekends as required.</li>
<li>Will work in other departments as needed.</li>
