This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, enhance financial processes, and support long‑term organizational success.</div> <hr> <div><strong>You Will Thrive in This Role If You…</strong></div> <ul> <li>Enjoy bringing clarity and structure to complex financial environments</li> <li>Value accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality in your work</li> <li>Are a proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs</li> <li>Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders</li> <li>Adapt easily to changing priorities and responsibilities</li> </ul> <hr> <div><strong>Responsibilities</strong></div> <ul> <li>Lead accounting operations across trusts, partnerships, LLCs, and nonprofit entities</li> <li>Prepare quarterly consolidated and entity‑level financial statements, including eliminations</li> <li>Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial and investment activity</li> <li>Manage capital calls, distributions, and investment tracking</li> <li>Oversee accounting systems, reporting processes, and operational infrastructure</li> <li>Maintain and refine cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and liquidity oversight</li> <li>Coordinate preparation and review of federal and state tax filings, extensions, estimates, and K‑1 workflows</li> <li>Prepare and issue annual 1099s and maintain compliance policies and internal controls</li> <li>Enhance risk‑mitigation practices and strengthen approval workflows</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned by leadership</li> </ul> <hr> <div><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></div> <ul> <li>10+ years of progressive accounting experience</li> <li>Experience managing consolidated financial statements across multiple entities</li> <li>Ability to build complex financial or operational models</li> <li>Understanding of investment, partnership, and equity‑method accounting</li> <li>CPA preferred</li> <li>Experience with tax filings, family office or private investment work, system conversions, or nonprofit/foundation structures</li> </ul> <hr> <div><strong>Physical Demands</strong></div> <ul> <li>Ability to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills (typing, writing, operating office equipment)</li> <li>Ability to lift and carry approximately 20–25 lbs unassisted</li> <li> <div>Ability to sit for long periods with occasional reaching and standing</div> </li> </ul> <hr> <div><strong>The Value of a Career with The Fischer Group</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>The Fischer Group is a family of companies focused on delivering exceptional experiences across homebuilding, financial services, and real estate.
