Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.</div><h2>Are you looking for a challenge?</h2> We are seeking a Software Engineer to join the team to develop, maintain, and improve the framework powering a rich set of user experiences on multiple platforms. <h2>What you will be doing?</h2> <ul> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"> Implement and improve framework features and SDKs across multiple platforms while collaborating with application teams to help them meet their feature and performance requirements </li> <li> Build clean, well-documented, and reusable APIs to simplify integration with platform services </li> <li> Ensure SDKs are performant, scalable, and backward-compatible across versions </li> <li> Collaborate with framework, and application teams to define SDK requirements and developer experience </li> <li> Create and maintain developer documentation, sample apps, and integration guides </li> <li> Debug and resolve integration issues reported by partner teams or SDK consumers </li> <li> Continuously improve SDK usability, reliability, and adoption </li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"> Collaborate with team lead and peers to seek/give feedback on pull requests, gather technical requirements and technical design documents </li> </ul> <h2>What we are looking for?</h2> <ul> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"> B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent fields </li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"> 3-5 years of professional software development experience </li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"> Experience writing high-performance code in C++ </li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"> Experience with Jenkins or any CI/CD tools </li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"> Experience writing JavaScript and/or TypeScript with popular frameworks like React, Angular, Ember and similar. </li> <li> Solid understanding of API design principles, versioning, and backward compatibility </li> </ul> <h2>Bonus qualifications</h2> <ul> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"> Familiar with React Native </li> <li> Experience building and shipping SDKs, libraries, or developer-facing platforms </li> <li style="color: #000000 !important;"> Familiar with Development on multiple platforms (Linux, Android, Windows) </li> <li> Experience with package management and distribution tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle, CocoaPods, npm, Conan) </li> <li> Experience working on cross-platform SDKs (Android, iOS, Web, or desktop) </li> </ul> #LI-AT1<div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">Please refer to our <a href="https://www.playstation.com/en-us/legal/careers-privacy-notice/">Candidate Privacy Notice</a> for more information about how we process your personal information, and your data protection rights.   At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
