You will work closely with engineers, program managers, and technical teams to ensure that systems meet performance, environmental, and mission-critical requirements. In this role, you will develop test plans, execute tests, collect data, analyze results, and ensure that the systems meet all specifications. RESPONSIBILITIES <ul> <li>Support or lead the planning, setup, execution, and documentation of component- and system-level tests across mechanical, electrical, and environmental domains </li> <li>Develop, review, and maintain test procedures, plans, reports, and data packages aligned with engineering requirements and program needs </li> <li>Execute test procedures, collect and validate test data, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and configuration control standards </li> <li>Analyze test results, document anomalies, and support root cause investigations in collaboration with cross-functional teams </li> <li>Coordinate with design, systems, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure tests align with verification and validation requirements </li> <li>Prepare for and participate in test readiness reviews, pre-test briefings, and post-test debriefs </li> <li>Maintain organized test documentation to support internal, customer, and audit reviews </li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement of test methodologies, tooling, automation, and data analysis practices </li> </ul> QUALIFICATIONS <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field </li> <li>Test Engineer I: Bachelor’s degree with 0–1 years of academic or industry experience in a test, validation, or lab environment </li> <li>Test Engineer II: Bachelor’s degree with 2–4+ years of hands-on test engineering experience within the aerospace or defense industry, or a Master’s degree with relevant experience </li> <li>Demonstrated proficiency in, or strong interest in developing expertise across, test planning, execution, and post-test analysis using modern tools and methods </li> <li>Working knowledge of test equipment, instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and test scription or automation </li> <li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and safety protocols </li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn test management and data analysis tools </li> <li>Strong documentation and communication skills </li> <li>U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts </li> </ul> PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE <ul> <li>Experience with environmental testing (vibration, thermal, shock, TVAC, EMI/EMC) </li> <li>Strong technical writing and report generation skills </li> <li>Familiarity with aerospace and defense test standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810, DO-160) </li> <li>Hands-on experience with lab instrumentation, sensors, and DAQ systems </li> <li>Experience with data analysis or automation tools such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, or Python </li> <li>Exposure to failure investigations, root cause analysis, and non-conformance tracking </li> <li>Active DoD clearance or ability to obtain one </li> </ul> COMPENSATION <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="2" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Test Engineer I Base Salary: $70,000-$110,000</li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="2" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Test Engineer II Base Salary: $80,000-$130,000</li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="2" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave </li> </ul> Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.  ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS <ul> <li>Work Location— this a fully onsite position based out of our Centennial, CO office.</li> <li>Work environment—the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.</li> <li>Physical demands—the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.</li> </ul> This position will be open until it is successfully filled.
