<p><strong>Irrigation Manager</strong></p> <p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Manager to train and develop a team of irrigation technicians, as well as manage smart irrigation systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing teams and a strong background in water management and irrigation system troubleshooting.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Supervise and lead a team of irrigation technicians, providing training, support and guidance as needed.</li> <li>Ensure technicians are achieving production factors to remain on schedule.</li> <li>Assist technicians with complex irrigation system failure.</li> <li>Hold technicians accountable to a scorecard with a weekly 1 on 1.</li> <li>Monitor and adjust time clocking in Aspire.</li> <li>Working with the Account Managers to identify and execute on staffing needs.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing irrigation systems, preferably in Commercial landscape.</li> <li>Minimum 2 years of experience managing service technician teams</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li><strong>Training and development:</strong> <ul> <li>Ability to transfer knowledge to direct reports</li> <li>Desire to set goals for service technicians and to support and hold techs accountable to said goals</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li><strong>Technical Skills:</strong> <ul> <li>Proficient in the use of irrigation software (Smartlink), Aspire and technology (preferred).</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li><strong>Communication Skills:</strong> <ul> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with direct reports and managers.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li><strong>Problem-Solving:</strong> <ul> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.</li> <li>Ability to make informed decisions quickly and under pressure.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li><strong>Attributes:</strong> <ul> <li>Humble, natural collaborator, team-oriented</li> <li>Self-directed, driven.</li> <li>Great communicator</li> <li>Coachable, responsive to feedback</li> <li>Problem-solver, strategic thinker</li> </ul> </li> </ul>
