BGE goes beyond competitive benefits to attract and retain the best in an environment that inspires excellence.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Primarily office-based with occasional field work</li> <li>Projects include land development, site development, and public works</li> <li>Draft survey projects in AutoCAD Civil3D or Bentley MicroStation</li> <li>Knowledge of Trimble Business Center (TBC) is a plus</li> <li>Create digital terrain models from field survey data</li> <li>Review and check work for quality control</li> <li>Conduct deed research</li> <li>Work under the direct supervision of a Professional Land Surveyor</li> <li>Identify possible problems, and conflicts, and bring them to the supervisor’s attention</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required; Specialized vocational training is a plus.</li> <li><strong>2 + </strong>years of land survey experience - construction staking is preferred</li> <li>Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D is required</li> <li>Knowledge of MicroStation (Inroads &amp; GeoPak) is a plus</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisor, and others</li> <li>Willingness and ability to be based in an office and do occasional field work.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>Some of our Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401k Match: 100% up to 4% of your contributions with immediate vesting + 3% Safe Harbor Contribution with immediate vesting</li> <li>Merit-Based Bonus Compensation</li> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance; BGE contributes to HSA on eligible plans</li> <li>9 paid Holidays, including 3 Floating holidays</li> <li>Personal Time Allowances&nbsp;</li> <li>2 to 4 weeks of Vacation, depending on experience-level.
