About the Role

<p><strong>This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our South Charlotte, NC Headquarters (Monday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Fridays each week.</strong></p> <p>We’re seeking a Senior Content Designer to join our Creative team. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative, creative, close-knit group that loves solving complex problems, building data-driven user experiences, and driving innovation and performance for the business.</p> <p>Moving is one of life’s most stressful experiences—there are 100+ critical decisions that shape what comes next. You’ll support a critical piece of that mission: helping users succeed in their moving journey.</p> <p>As Senior Content Designer, you’ll lead content for USPS Change-of-Address and the MYMOVE platform that follows—an experience used by 24M+ movers every year. Curious how MyMove fits into Red Ventures? <a class="in-cell-link" href="https://www.redventures.com/portfolio/rv-home-client-services" target="_blank">Click here</a>.</span></p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <h4>Lead Content Strategy &amp; Execution</h4> <ul> <li>Own content design and strategy across the end-to-end product experience</li> <li>Create, maintain, and evolve internal guidelines and content systems aligned to brand pillars and business goals</li> <li>Synthesize external guidelines from multiple partners into a seamless, unified voice</li> <li>Concept and write content that improves user experience and drives performance across digital experiences</li> </ul> <h4>Use Data, Research &amp; Performance Metrics</h4> <ul> <li>Use data, user research, and performance metrics to optimize existing experiences</li> <li>Build subject-matter expertise by understanding user needs, business goals, competitive solutions, and opportunity gaps</li> <li>Translate business goals into high-converting content, measuring success through conversion and task completion</li> <li>Lead content-driven research and testing initiatives that shape platform decisions</li> </ul> <h4>Collaborate Across Teams</h4> <ul> <li>Partner closely with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers from concept through launch</li> <li>Work autonomously, take ownership, and sweat the details every step of the way</li> <li>Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to accelerate first drafts and A/B variants—while maintaining brand voice and compliance standards<br><br></li> </ul> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience writing for consumer-focused tech across web, mobile, and app platforms</li> <li>A strong portfolio showcasing excellent, error-free writing and UX thinking</li> <li>Ability to directly implement content in design tools like Figma (or similar collaborative platforms)</li> <li>A clear communicator and strong collaborator who can bring strategy to life</li> <li>A growth mindset—open to feedback and continuous learning</li> <li>Proactive, with strong time-management skills and a bias toward action</li> <li>Comfortable working in a fast-changing, evolving environment</li> <li>Ability to juggle multiple projects while setting and managing stakeholder expectations</li> <li>A passion for UX and digital content principles</li> <li>A great sense of humor—and a genuine love for what you do</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Nice to Haves:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Experience in utilities or home services (internet, electricity, entertainment, HVAC, smart tech)</li> <li>Understanding of homeowner or renter utility needs and purchase lifecycle</li> <li>Branding and marketing experience</li> <li>Familiarity with usability testing platforms (e.g., Userlytics)</li> <li>Experience working with government or quasi-government partners</li> <li>Background in travel, moving, or life-event consumer products</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation: </strong></p> <p><em>This range reflects total cash compensation, which may include base salary only or base salary plus target bonus, depending on the role. Where eligible, equity may also be offered separately and not included below.
