About the Role

<h2><strong>Job Description</strong></h2> <p>The Alignment Engineer must perform Client standards and alignment reviews and work proactively towards aligning Clients that are misaligned against our Company standards. Maintain &amp; Develop Company standards and best practices.</p> <h2><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Perform Remote Standards and Alignment Reviews.</li> <li>Maintain, update, and phase out assigned Clients Standards templates as technology or a Client environment changes.</li> <li>Develop and maintain technical knowledge of assigned Clients’ environments.</li> <li>Conduct thorough checking, updating and accuracy of Clients’ information and documentation.</li> <li>Be responsible for upholding best practices, and reporting recommendations to the vCIO.</li> <li>Identify Client technical risk and collaborate with internal teams appropriately.</li> <li>Contribute to the maintenance of the ITS Standards Library.</li> <li>Actively participate in the Standards and Alignment Committee</li> <li>Develop both technical and business acumen relating to Client sites</li> <li>Proactively maintain and improve Clients’ infrastructure remotely.</li> <li>Review project results for thoroughness, outcomes, documentation, and quality of execution</li> <li>Maintain strong client relationships.</li> <li>Keep abreast of the development of relevant IT and telecommunication systems, hardware and software applications within the industry</li> <li>Maintaining and keeping all assigned client documentation in order.</li> <li>Assist in the training, mentoring and development of staff.</li> <li>Perform general office duties as required remotely.</li> <li>Liaise with, manage, and advise Clients, other consultants, and contractors and attend meetings as required.</li> <li>Perform other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Alignment Team Manager.</li> <li>Adopt continuous learning and improvement processes in all aspects of the position.</li> <li>Implement, participate in, and promote Company Policies and Procedures.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Job Qualifications</strong></h2> <div><strong>Technical Qualifications</strong></div> <div> <ul> <li>3 years plus previous experience in IT administration and/or technical support experience, or equivalent.</li> <li>Knowledge of IT and telecommunications infrastructure, hardware and software applications.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience and knowledge of network and workstation operating systems, and Microsoft Windows operating system.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience with web and internet technologies.</li> <li>Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent.</li> </ul> <div><strong>Core Competencies &amp; Soft Skills</strong></div> <div> <ul> <li>Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>High level organizational, coordination and prioritization skills.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies.</li> <li>Show initiative when undertaking tasks.</li> <li>Able to work well both within a team environment and autonomously.</li> <li>Good task management and multi-tasking skills.</li> <li>High degree of confidentiality.</li> <li>High degree of punctuality.</li> <li>Ability to take, interpret and follow instructions.</li> <li>Client service orientation.</li> <li>Ability to work with staff at all levels of the Company.</li> <li>Committed towards undertaking duties efficiently with a strong attention to detail.</li> <li>Professional personal presentation.</li> <li>Awareness of and ability to work in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures.</li> </ul> </div> </div> <h2><strong>Job KPI's</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Number of completed client assessments</li> <li>Number of findings created</li> <li>Alignment tickets completed</li> <li>Documentation tickets completed</li> <li>Security remediation tickets completed</li> <li>Request tickets completed</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Job Requirements</strong></h2> <ul> <li>A home office set up that meets the following: <ul> <li>Computer: A working computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM and one of the following: <ul> <li>Windows 11 with an Intel i5 or i7 (8th generation or newer), or</li> <li>AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 (2000 series or newer), or</li> <li>macOS 12 or newer.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Internet: Stable internet connection with at least 5 Mbps download and upload speeds.</li> <li>Audio Equipment: A quality headset with a noise-cancellation feature for meetings.</li> <li>Mobile Device: A smartphone capable of installing the Microsoft Authenticator app.</li> <li>Webcam: An HD webcam for video calls.</li> <li>2nd Monitor<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></li> <li>UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) if using a desktop (Not needed if using a laptop)</li> </ul> </li> <li>A very strong cultural fit the ITS way (Our core values will be discussed during the interview)&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent command of the English language both spoken and written&nbsp;</li> <li>Able to work full time 40 hrs. a week: &nbsp;8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST (Monday to Friday)</li> <li>Able to pass our online behavior and cognitive assessments.</li> <li>Able to provide NBI Clearance (for PH applicants).</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Compensation</strong></h2> <p>Pay rate starts at <strong>$8.27/hour</strong> and may vary by experience and location.</p> <h2><strong>Benefits</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Comprehensive Health Plans / HMO (Employee &amp;
