In Lucid Air and Lucid Gravity, we have designed and built vehicles that have redefined their segments, combining exceptional range, performance, design, and expansive space in a single experience.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559738":210,"335559739":210,"335559740":300}"> </span></p> <p><span data-contrast="none">We achieve this through deep vertical integration, with design, engineering, and production happening in-house across our global offices and manufacturing facilities. Our teams come from industries around the world, united by a shared commitment to excellence. By refusing to settle, you can help redefine what’s possible and shape the future of mobility.</span></p></div><h4><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Serve as a senior technical expert for enterprise Windows and VMware infrastructure projects.</li> <li>Deploy, configure, administer, and troubleshoot VMware vSphere 8, ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Entra ID (Azure AD).</li> <li>Design and support highly available virtualization platforms and Windows-based infrastructure services.</li> <li>Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for infrastructure, performance, and availability issues.</li> <li>Automate operational tasks and infrastructure management using PowerShell.</li> <li>Support enterprise services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services, print services, Microsoft 365, and identity services.</li> <li>Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.</li> <li>Lead infrastructure improvement initiatives focused on reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.</li> <li>Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across the infrastructure team.</li> <li>Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements based on business requirements and industry best practices.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.</li> <li>9+ years of Windows Server administration experience in a large enterprise environment.</li> <li>9+ years of hands-on VMware administration experience including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.</li> <li>9+ years supporting enterprise Active Directory environments including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, authentication, and identity management.</li> <li>Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD).</li> <li>Strong PowerShell scripting experience for automation and systems administration.</li> <li>Experience supporting highly available production environments with hundreds or thousands of virtual machines.</li> <li>Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h4> <ul> <li>VMware Horizon administration and support experience.</li> <li>Experience with Microsoft clustering, failover technologies, and disaster recovery solutions.</li> <li>Experience with enterprise backup and recovery platforms.</li> <li>Experience with storage platforms supporting VMware environments.</li> <li>Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.</li> <li>VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification preferred.</li> <li>Microsoft certifications related to Windows Server, Active Directory, or Azure preferred.</li> </ul> <p>This version reads much more like a <strong>true senior VMware/Windows engineer</strong> rather than a general infrastructure engineer. It makes <strong>Active Directory, VMware, vCenter, PowerShell, DNS/DHCP, and Windows Server</strong> the core competencies and leaves everything else secondary.
