This individual will conduct thermo-structural response analysis of composite materials and structures under a variety of conditions and environments relevant to high-speed flight systems using tools such as Abaqus. Analysis tasks will consist of both linear and highly nonlinear problems due to integration of advanced techniques related to transient loads and contact interactions, as well as progressive damage models.
