<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Assistant Community Manager | Job Overview </strong></span></p>
<p>As an Assistant Community Manager, you play a vital role in supporting the community’s day-to-day success. From leasing and resident relations to financial tasks like rent collection and renewals, you help keep everything running smoothly. Partnering closely with the Community Manager, you’ll lead by example, resolve resident concerns, and ensure both the team and community feel supported and empowered to thrive! </p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Assistant Community Manager| Education, Experience, and License Qualifications</span> </strong></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Education:</span> </p>
<ul>
<li>High School or GED equivalent </li>
</ul>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Experience:</span><strong> </strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Two years of property management experience is preferred </li>
<li>Six months previous assistant community manager experience is preferred </li>
</ul>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Licenses & Certifications:</span> </p>
<ul>
<li>Valid Driver's License </li>
<li>A Certified Apartment Leasing Professional Accreditation (CALP) is a plus</li>
</ul>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Assistant Community Manager | Job Functions</span> </strong></p>
<p><strong>Leasing & Occupancy </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Support leasing efforts by conducting tours, responding to leads, and guiding prospects through the leasing process </li>
<li>Identify prospect needs, showcase available homes, and invite them to join the community </li>
<li>Ensure lease applications, renewals, and related documents are completed accurately and on time </li>
<li>Meet occupancy goals through strong leasing performance and resident retention • Create and manage content for the community’s social media platforms, highlighting resident events and promoting engagement </li>
<li>Maintain a clean, welcoming environment by ensuring the office, amenities, and common areas are immaculately presented </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Financial & Administrative </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee rent collection, check scanning, and payment posting to ensure timely and accurate processing </li>
<li>Monitor delinquencies, make weekly follow-up calls, and coordinate eviction procedures as needed </li>
<li>Conduct regular ledger reviews to verify billing, payment applications, and account accuracy </li>
<li>Assist with financial reporting and documentation for Community Manager and regional leadership </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Leadership & Team Support </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Step into a leadership role in the absence of the Community Manager, maintaining continuity and team momentum </li>
<li>Support a positive and productive work environment through clear communication and goal-setting </li>
<li>Help prioritize daily tasks to ensure smooth operations and exceptional resident service </li>
<li>Respond to resident concerns and deescalate issues with professionalism, empathy, and follow-through </li>
</ul>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Work Schedule</span>: </strong></p>
<p><strong>Office Hours: </strong></p>
<p>Our leasing office is open Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, and Saturdays, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM. One weekday off is provided each week to maintain a 40-hour schedule. </p>
<p><em>Evening and weekend availability may be required for resident events or based on the unique needs of the community. </em></p>
