If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.</div></div>  The Sr. Maintenance Robotics Engineer for the Automotive Paint Shop is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, reliability, and efficiency of mechanical systems and equipment within the paint shop. This role includes preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to uphold production quality and minimize downtime.  <div>You Will: </div> <div> Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:  <ul> <li>Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical systems, including ovens, conveyors, robots, pumps, and ventilation units. Address equipment breakdowns promptly minimize production disruption </li> </ul> Troubleshooting & Repair:  <ul> <li>Diagnose mechanical malfunctions, analyze root causes, and implement effective corrective actions. Support the maintenance team during emergency breakdowns and critical system failures </li> </ul> Equipment Installation & Commissioning:  <ul> <li>Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new paint shop equipment and mechanical systems. Ensure compliance with OEM specifications and safety standards</li> </ul> Documentation & Reporting:  <ul> <li>Maintain accurate maintenance records, including logs, equipment history, downtime analysis, and spare parts usage. Provide technical support and training to technicians as needed\ </li> </ul>  Key Equipment Handled:  <ul> <li>Conveyor systems (Skillet, EMS, Chain, and Belt conveyors) </li> <li>Paint circulation systems (pumps, filters, heat exchangers) </li> <li>Curing ovens and flash-off zones </li> <li>Spray booths and air handling units </li> <li>Robots (painting, sealer application, handling) </li> <li>Mix rooms, dosing systems, and fluid transfer systems </li> <li>Compressed air and chilled water systems </li> <li>Waste water treatment and dry booth systems </li> </ul> </div> <div> You Bring:  Minimum Qualifications: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Applied Mechanical Engineering </li> <li>5–8 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in an automotive paint shop </li> <li>Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics </li> <li>Familiarity with TPM, CMMS tools (SAP PM or similar), and lean maintenance practices </li> <li>Understanding of automotive paint processes and Class A surface requirements is a plus </li> <li>Hands-on experience with robotic systems (FANUC, Dürr, ABB, etc.) is desirable </li> <li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills </li> </ul> Working Conditions:  <ul> <li>Willingness to work in shifts and on-call support for breakdowns </li> <li>Must adhere to all safety and PPE requirements </li> <li>Able to collaborate with process, automation and electric maintenance teams </li> </ul> </div>  <div class="content-conclusion"><div> Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
