<p><strong>Account Manager, Beauty</strong></p> <p>PR Consulting is a brand strategy and public relations agency that specializes in developing and&nbsp;communicating authentic narratives to position companies and individuals across multi-platform&nbsp;channels.</p> <p>Our company is seeking candidates for the Manager role within our Beauty team, supporting senior level&nbsp;staff across top-tier beauty clients. The ideal candidate would be joining our dynamic team, and should&nbsp;be enthusiastic, dedicated, and beauty obsessed.</p> <p>The Manager will be part of PR Consulting’s team in New York and report directly to the department's&nbsp;Director.</p> <p><strong>Job Description</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support senior staff in the ideation and development of strategy supporting clients’ goals</li> <li>Pitch and secure media coverage on client activity across both traditional and new media</li> <li>Ideate creative pitch and media angles and concepts</li> <li>Manage media requests for editorial opportunities and events - supporting on-site as needed</li> <li>Liaise directly with clients and manage day to day account activity</li> <li>Create media alerts, releases, and other press collateral</li> <li>Plan and execute events and brand activations</li> <li>Research and share analysis on top trends within the beauty industry</li> <li>Demonstrate strong relationships with target press and influencers</li> <li>Build and maintain target media lists, consistently developing new relationships aligned with the ever-changing landscape</li> <li>Develop influencer seeding strategy and oversee logistics</li> <li>Oversee reporting to ensure deliverables are accurate and timely</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 4-5 years experience, ideally with relevant brands across the beauty space</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively and concisely communicate ideas to clients, media, senior team members and colleagues</li> <li>Strong knowledge of fashion, beauty and retail media landscapes</li> <li>Proven track record in securing top tier coverage in print, online, broadcast and new media</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively and concisely communicate ideas to clients, media, senior team members and colleagues - strong deck-building and writing skills are essential</li> <li>Strong grasp on the digital landscape</li> <li>Superior time management skills, ability to work quickly and efficiently, prioritize and multitask</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills</li> <li>Experience in supervising/mentoring junior staff</li> <li>Enthusiastic and collaborative attitude, ambitious team player</li> </ul> <p><strong>Salary Range </strong>$70,000 - $90,000</p>
