<p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p>
<p>Navan is hiring a <strong>People Operations Coordinator</strong> to play an instrumental role in creating and maintaining an exceptional employee experience on a global scale. This role directly supports our values and culture by ensuring our HR operations run smoothly and effectively. You'll manage day-to-day <strong>global</strong> People operations, data integrity in our HRIS (Workday), and oversee our ticketing request queue (JIRA). This is a hands-on, tactical role that spans all stages of the employee lifecycle, offering tremendous opportunities for learning and creativity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</p>
<p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Act as the first point of contact for all People-related inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate responses.</li>
<li>Provide queue management for internal and external employee inquiries through JIRA and escalate complex issues as necessary.</li>
<li>Manage employee data changes and audits in Workday, maintaining data integrity and compliance.</li>
<li>Oversee onboarding tasks (background checks, work authorization), offboarding processes, and the contingent worker program.</li>
<li>Draft employment-related letters, agreements, and contracts as needed.</li>
<li>Support compliance efforts by tracking training completion, managing outstanding employee tasks, and overseeing audit dashboards. </li>
<li>Develop and maintain internal resources and knowledge base articles for employees.</li>
<li>Assist with compliance audits, process improvements, and system updates</li>
<li>Partner with the People team to identify and implement process improvements to enhance employee experiences.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What We're Looking For:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>1+ year experience in a similar role</li>
<li>Must have Workday experience</li>
<li>Familiarity with HR systems and case management tools (e.g., JIRA, zendesk, servicenow)</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively</li>
<li>Proven track record of supporting HR processes, data management, and employee lifecycle activities</li>
<li>A proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize and act independently.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and a customer-service orientation.</li>
