And if you’re like us, we can offer you the ultimate career opportunity that will light a fire within you.</p></div><p><strong>Tech Manager (Engineering) – Performance &amp; Platform Excellence</strong></p> <p><strong>How will you make an impact?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team focused on <strong>performance, scalability, and reliability across the platform</strong>.</li> <li>Define and drive a <strong>performance engineering strategy</strong> adopted across multiple product teams.</li> <li>Manage a <strong>center of excellence</strong>, setting standards, frameworks, and governance for performance testing and scalability.</li> <li>Lead evolution of <strong>performance testing frameworks and tooling</strong> (JMeter, BlazeMeter, Gatling, or equivalent).</li> <li>Lead the development of <strong>AI-enabled testing and analysis capabilities</strong> to improve efficiency, insight, and coverage.</li> <li>Integrate <strong>performance testing into CI/CD pipelines</strong>, enabling early detection and prevention of production issues.</li> <li>Partner with architecture, product, and engineering teams to <strong>identify risks and influence system design for scale</strong>.</li> <li>Enable teams with <strong>production-like testing environments, tooling, and data strategies</strong>.</li> <li>Provide clear visibility into <strong>performance health, risks, and roadmap progress</strong>.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Have you got what it takes?</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience leading engineering teams in complex, distributed environments.</li> <li>Strong hands-on background in <strong>Java or C# (.NET)</strong>.</li> <li>Proven experience in <strong>performance engineering</strong>, including load, stress, and scalability testing.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with tools such as <strong>JMeter, BlazeMeter, Gatling</strong>, or similar.</li> <li>Strong understanding of <strong>distributed systems, microservices, and system bottlenecks</strong>.</li> <li>Experience integrating testing into <strong>CI/CD pipelines and release processes</strong>.</li> <li>Experience applying or experimenting with <strong>AI/LLM-based tools</strong> to improve engineering workflows.</li> <li>Ability to lead at both <strong>strategic and execution levels</strong>.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with <strong>cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)</strong> and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>observability and monitoring tools</strong> (Grafana, Prometheus).</li> <li>Experience building <strong>internal platforms or shared frameworks</strong>.</li> <li>Experience driving <strong>adoption of engineering standards across teams</strong>.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Tech stack (expected exposure)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Java or C# / .NET</li> <li>Performance tools: JMeter, BlazeMeter, Gatling</li> <li>CI/CD tooling (Jenkins or equivalent)</li> <li>Git/GitHub</li> <li>Observability tools (Grafana or similar)</li> <li>Cloud (AWS/Azure)</li> <li>Scripting (Python or similar)</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Requisition ID: 10543</strong></p> <p><strong>Reporting into: Tech Manager</strong></p> <p><strong>Role Type: Individual Contributor</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em><strong>About NiCE </strong></em></p> <p><em>NICE Ltd.
