You will be responsible for improving and automating the processes and workflows that can have a significant business impact by increasing authentication team efficiency and accuracy. You will need to have a strong understanding of front-end development, as well as a willingness to learn new technologies quickly. In addition, we are looking for someone who can work effectively in a team that is spread across different time zones.</p> <p>Some areas you'd work on would include:</p> <ul> <li>Internal dashboards and customer support tools</li> <li>Policy tracking and change management systems</li> <li>Custom search systems and data investigation tools</li> <li>Interfaces to explain machine learning and expert system output</li> <li>Account management systems</li> <li>Data annotation tools</li> <li>Internal training platforms</li> </ul> <p><strong>Reports to: </strong>Engineering Manager<strong><br></strong><strong>Location: </strong>Remote - Brazil</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop systems that follow modern design principles and are implemented using secure, flexible &amp; scalable methodologies, promote a streamlined, collaborative environment &amp; use efficient workflows while keeping focus on a positive user experience</li> <li>You’ll contribute reliable code across all phases of the development lifecycle, collaborating on product specifications and operational feasibility</li> <li>You’ll come up with ideas for projects to clean up technical debt and make it easier to develop in our codebases</li> <li>You’ll champion a balance between following good coding practices and delivering value for our customers quickly</li> <li>You’ll produce well-tested, extensible code that stands up to existing and future load requirements</li> <li>You’ll share your expertise in a thoughtful, no-ego way with all members of the team, coaching team members when needed</li> <li>Shepherd your contributions through peer review, testing, deployment, and finally monitoring in production</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who you are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Generalist with experience in web apps, backend services, and databases.</li> <li>6+ years of experience in backend (python) and frontend.</li> <li>Experience with building front-end websites or tools using modern SPA frameworks like Vue/React.</li> <li>Experience with databases (Postgres, NoSQL, etc.)</li> <li>Experience working as the lead on various technical projects.</li> <li>Prior experience working in a startup-like environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Market competitive and pay equity-focused compensation structure</li> <li>Generous time away including company holidays, paid time off, sick time, parental leave, and more!</li> <li>Opportunity to be part of category defining start up.</li> </ul> <p class="p1">We have had an incredible run so far and laying the foundation for a culture that is fast-paced,&nbsp;entrepreneurial, and rooted in passion, kindness, and positivity.
