Join us.</p> <p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION</strong></p> <p>The Facilities Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all equipment and spaces within our facility. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of operation and aesthetics.</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform inspections of interior and exterior areas, addressing maintenance needs promptly</li> <li>Conduct preventative maintenance on various systems, including HVAC, pools, saunas, elevators, and kitchen equipment</li> <li>Execute repair and improvement projects efficiently and effectively</li> <li>Maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing environment throughout the facility</li> <li>Respond quickly to maintenance requests and communicate repair timelines</li> <li>Manage and update the repair ticketing system</li> <li>Assist in training other departments on basic equipment upkeep</li> <li>Participate in safety procedures, including fire drills and employee safety training</li> <li>Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment</li> <li>Collaborate with other departments to complete projects and maintain facility standards</li> </ul> <p><strong>DESIRED SKILLS</strong></p> <ul> <li>2-4 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a hotel or similar high-touch environment</li> <li>Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical work, and carpentry</li> <li>Proficiency with hand and power tools</li> <li>Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills</li> <li>Ability to work independently and proactively without constant supervision</li> <li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various departments</li> <li>Physical ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs and perform essential job functions</li> <li>Certifications in Pool Operation, CPR, and First Aid (or willingness to obtain)</li> <li>Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays</li> <li>This is an hourly position with opportunities for growth</li> <li>The role requires a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Emphasis on quick turnaround and high-quality work</li> </ul> <p><strong>COMPENSATION &amp; BENEFITS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Weekend availability required.</li> <li>Pay: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour.</li> <li>Health Insurance eligible.</li> <li>Free unlimited admission to Bathhouse + 3 monthly plus ones.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>50% off services, products, and restaurants.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
